good morning. and welcome to everybody's favorite day of the week. >> and why is that? >> because it is. it's the best day of the week because we know we have beautiful weather and three days of weekend, well, two and a half ahead. live look outside. that was the emeryville camera there. it's warm, humid, sports mania. i'm kind of embarrassed for us because none of this was planned. >> it really wasn't. warriors on the mind this morning. >> what could possibly be happening? >> actually, my favorite day of the week is saturday. >> okay, so close. >> yeah. >> getting there, kari. >> yeah, we're going to have nice weather this weekend, looking forward to rain that we had yesterday and early this morning, still misting in spots. that will be clearing out.

4:34 am
>> we support them through the lean years. xuper excited. >> i think it's going to be a sweep. i don't think that curry is interested in losing again. and we want to beat lebron. >> a lot of optimism there, and with tonight's win, it would be the team's second championship in three years. as you mentioned there, sam, with tonight's win, that means it would be the first team to go undefeated in the playoffs in nba history. pete suratos for today in the bay. >> ridiculous. we have never seen anything like this before, pete. history for sure. >> new this morning, other news to get to, the west contra costa county jail one step closer to, panding to include about 400 more beds. the east bay times reporting a key $70 million grant has come through from the board of state and community corrections. county supervisors have to approve the grant, but they did approve the expansion back in
