that series four-one. let's show you some of the video inside. the warriors celebrating their second championship in three years, beating them 129-120 in front of the hometown crowd. this marks the first time the bay area has won at their home stadium since oakland a's did it more than 40 years ago. kevin dur ant had 39 points in that win taking home mvp award. that celebration extended outside of the arena. the fireworks show was on display as fans celebrated the victory. it was one of the most historic seasons in nba history. >> we came to end it, and it's over. >> i'm excited. to pay almost $4,000 to witness the championship and to pay almost $3,000 for a ticket to fly all the way here. >> what a great feeling for oakland to win it back.

the parade will begin on broadway making it's way to the kaiser convention center. today the more on the parade if you want to take part in the festiviti festivities. good morning. >> reporter: fans from all over of the bay area will be heading to the warriors parade including hopping on bart so we have a lot of tips for you. here they are. i was at the last victory parade and it is massive. as you can see from the video from the parade two years ago. you'll have six crowds along the route and parking is very limited around the parade route. my husband left the other victory parade had to drop me and the daughters off so people will be taken mass transit. be ready for big crowds. the parade will start at 10:00 a.m. then head up broadway, across grand to lake

last night. he was on international boulevard when the driver allegedly hit him. the officer was rushed to the hospital. we're told that he's in stable condition. he was on a motorcycle as you see from that picture there. it is not clear if this case is connected to the warriors celebration. another big day in washington today as attorney general jeff sessions testifies in front of the senate intelligence committee. these are live pictures of course in washington. sessions will testify in an open session. he'll be asked why he failed to disclose yet another meeting with the russian ambassador. he'll also be asked why he allowed president trump to have private meetings with fired fbi director james comey. a friend of the president told pbs that trump is considering firing robert mueller, the special counsel investigating possible ties between trump's campaigns and russian officials. >> i think he's considering perhaps terminating the special counsel. i think he's weighing that option. >> he should not further

obstruct our efforts and the fbi and the department of justice's efforts to get to the bottom of what happened. >> democrats say firing him would be a huge mistake. you can watch sessions full testimony without interruptions right here on nbc bay area. our coverage kicks off at 11:30 a.m. >> parents of the fremont school district taking a stand against bullying and what they say is the school's failure to address the issue. they're upset with the bullying going on at mon ta vista high school. this is a goal here to stand in solidarity with an african-american student who was targeted last year. her family's filed a civil lawsuit alleging that her classmates created a kill list which identified all the black students on campus. this lawsuit claims the district was negligent because it failed to prevent this from happening even though allegedly the school district was aware of the problem. we reached out to the school district which issued a statement saying in part, quote,

that location would be near dur ran station. both sides in early talks but plans show the development could be five times the size of valley fair mall just to give you some sense of scale there. later this morning uber will be releasing a report detailing inside corporate culture. >> this is not for public consumption but like most uber's internal stuff it will leak out fairly quickly. uber's board has already seen the report authored by the former u.s. attorney general eric holder. the board at uber spent seven hours looking over this report sunday. uber of course has been under fire for all kinds of things, from sexual harassment to abusive culture, to sneaky software to fool regulators. one of the possible biltss is for the company's founder to take a leave of absence. he's often at the center of all those controversies that dog

uber. monday imam michael resigned from the company. he's accused of one suggesting in public that uber hire private investigators to track the reporters who cover uber. sara lacy specifically to dig up some dirt on them. the report will suggest other changes for uber to adopt. the big question is can a new plan fix the company that suffered from damaged culture for years. ceos i talked to say it might but instead of fixing a company after its broken it's better to deal with problems as they come. >> my point is that today companies can measure the experience of their employees on a regular basis. so there's no excuse for being surprised. there's really no excuse for having an uber situation, right, because you should be on top of the employee experience across all of your populations on a reagan ongoing basis. >> the fed starts it's two day meeting today. the nasdaq being getting crushed

the civilian commission and also voting to add the civilian inspector general. we spoke with an oakland councilmember about what this commission is going to do. >> you need somebody whose going to reform and look at reforms and audit the police department on an ongoing basis and that's somebody needs to be a civilian who has expertise and it needs someone who reports to the police commission, not to the police chief. >> so that commission was overwhelmingly approved by voters back in november and it was in response to a number of scandals involving sexual misconduct by members of the oakland police department. that resulted in a nearly $1 million settlement with the victim. >> it is 5:46, breaking news right now. out of georgia our affiliate reporting two prison guards have been killed by prisoners. we're getting that information from the putnam county sheriff's department. >> that sheriff that you say the prison 75 miles outside of atlanta. there are reports that the suspects right now are on the run. we're waiting for live air ideal
