jose. looking live in san jose you see that there's still some low clouds there. we will get clearing as we head toward latd morning and mostly sunny skies by noontime. we'll be up to 75. our temperatures a little bit warmer than yesterday so i'll talk about that coming up 'the mike is tracking a crash in fremont. >> a crash in fremont but no major injuries. it's going to be a distraction though. the green sensors all over. we are looking at southbound 680 coming around the bend and down towards missions so just south of the auto mall parkway ramp. this vehicle went off of the roadway to a roadside ditch and there was a sign there that was also damaged. you may seen signs there as folks zres address that and have to pull that car from the dirt on the side of the road. we're look at san jose, the live look from our san jose camera, 101 moves well, crash is just over on the shoulder. back to you. >> thank you very much. big news nationally today, happening today, portions of president trump's travel ban can go into effect.

that limits travel to the u.s. for certain people from six predominantly muslim countries. >> we're live there this morning. bob, when the original version went into effect, there was chaos at the airport and other airports across the country. what are you seeing today? >> reporter: good morning, well, it's too early to tell. it's not clear if anyone or if people are going to be protesting will be doing the same thing again here at sfo when that limited travel ban goes into effect later today. we do know that a number of lawyers plan on being here at the international terminal volunteering their time to help me travelers stuck in limbo. here's what we know so far. ap reports that it has seen a cable sent out to consulates and embassies that indicates a limited travel ban will go into effect tonight at 5:00 p.m. central time. syria, sedan, somalia, libya,

yemen already have a u.s. visa then their visa will not be revoked. if a traveler from one those countries is applying for entry into the u.s., they plu have a parpt, spouse, child, even an adult child, or son or daughter-in-law already here in the country to be eligible for entry. other relationships like grandparents or grandchildren will not be eligible. we spoke with an attorney with the asian law caucus, that's one of the groups that mobilized the sfo in january when president trump's original ban was issued. wlg, that same group plans to set up on-site legal clinics just outside the arrivals here at sfo later today. >> we're not expecting the same sorts of crowds that we saw in january for a number of reasons, not the least of which is because people don't know when to show up, they don't know when this is going into effect. >> but to reiterate, there is new information overnight that this new limited travel ban is scheduled go into effect at 5:00 p.m. tonight our time. bob riddell today in the bay.

coming up in our 5:00 hour. authorities in antioch this morning report ang a shooting yesterday and thenned up send a man to the hospital. this happened a little bit afternoon yesterday on the 1700 block of sycamore drive not far from the california delta highway. at this point police are only saying the police officers found a man who was shot and then transported for care. they are not releasing details on the severity of the injuries. the most senior catholic is responding to sexual assault charges filed against him. card nel pell says he is innocent. he's the highest ranking vatican official to ever n charged in the church's long-running sexual abuse scannedndal. they have not released information about the charges against pell but they have given him a leave of absense to clear his name. we are following a developing story this morning, fire crews battling a brush fire

at camp pendleton that started just before 7:00 last night. it's already spread to 100 acres. that happened within the first hour. they're now calling this fire the christian neat toes fire. they've mostly stopped its progress but they are reporting at this point zero containment. so far it's burned at least 400 acres. elsewhere in southern california, firefighters now mostly contained a fire in burbank that prompted evacuations for about 50 homes. they managed to hold it to about ten acres preventing it from spreading to a nearby neighborhood. also those evaks evacuations have now been listed. firefighters say the fire is about 75% contained. coming up next, digging in for a fight over a local landmark. the reason the city of san jose and the state of california right now are in a tug of war of sorts over n old railroad truss. the in-laws have moved in with us.

fremont at 78 degrees. for the inner bay we're going to see those temperatures in the 70s while the coast stays in the 60s. half moon bay a high of 64 degrees and 84 degrees today in the mission district. north bay up to 89 and santa rosa and nevada 84 degrees. we'll start to feel a little bit warmer today as we start out with some fairly cooler temperatures. so you may need a light jacket as you get ready to head out the door but also some short sleeves as those temperatures warm up for this afternoon. and we'll see some warmer weather as we head into the weekend, and that's what we'll be keeping track of. if you're making plans to head to sonoma today, it will be starting out in the upper 50s with mostly clear skies at noon. it's 76 degrees and reaching into the mid-80s for this afternoon. san francisco we'll see the clouds, the drizzle for a little while throughout the light morning hours and there will be only a little bit of clearing for this afternoon for san francisco and the coastline. highs in the low 70s heading

into the weekend. it looks like a very nice one. and for the interior valleys we're going to see the hottest temperatures up to 93 degrees on saturday. and sunday also looking very hot, barbecue weather in the forecast adds we may have a couple of extra days off because of the holiday on tuesday. i'll talk more about that as we head over to mike now checking back in at fremont. >> just so you know i always consider it barbecue weather. >> looking over toward the east bay everything else is going well we'll check back in on fremont where i see some slowing. now just a little bit remains for mission. both directions were showing some slow downs right off of 680 where that crash was report the. so i think there maybe some more vehicles arriving onseen but no slowing for the freeway 680 which is the one reportedly involved there. now, the rest of the bay moves very well as we're looking out towards the tri trael valley and coming out of the ata mont pass. the upper east shore freeway three very clear and easy choices here. upper east shore freeway that's the quickest route by about 15 minutes compared to the other
