as we head over to vianey tracking how it looks as you head out for the morning drive. >> it's only 5:00 a.m. we've been tracking a deadly crash since we came on at 4:30. chp did make a file about it at 4:00 a.m. and at 4:22 issued a sig alert. please avoid this area. they are diverting off el portal drive. it is a deadly crash, five vehicles were involved. westbound 80 towards the bay bridge about 37 minutes. the 5850 15 minutes. congress left washington, as you know, for the holiday recess without a deal on health care but that is not what washington is talking about this morning. >> right, have you seen it? president trump in his latest tweet. tracie potts is live tracking

connection with a deadly hit-and-run. two young boys were killed in this crash. their mother and a 3-month-old baby are still recovering this morning. >> reporter: rest in peace, sweet angels, the simple message honoring 5-year-old vincent and 10-year-old lorenzo pictured on a go fund me page started by friends of the familiy. the two children were killed in a violent crash friday in c concord. california highway patrol officers have arrested lemuel wilson jr. they say he was driving this suv. it careened off highway 4 and slammed into the dodge durango driven by vincent and lorenzo's mother. >> catastrophic damage and, unfortunately, a 5-year-old and 10-year-old boy were both ejected from the durango. >> reporter: according to the go fund me page the two young boys, their mother and 3-month-old infant had just finished watching a movie. wilson fled the scene friday night.

he went to highland hospital in oakland the next day to seek medical treatment and to turn himself in to alameda county sheriff's deputies. he's facing two counts of vehicular manslaughter, hit-and-run, and driving with a suspended or revoked license. if you are heading across the golden gate bridge, starting today it will cost you more money. >> yes, just a little bit. a man accused in the deadly shooting of an east bay mother is set to be sentenced. camille pierce was shot and killed while protecting her children from a gun battle outside of their home. it happened in west oakland back in march of 2015. jerry harvin pled no contest to voluntary manslaughter charges and could be sentenced today, could face up to 13 years in prison. three other people will be sentenced separately. a very sad development to report this morning in the search for a missing 5-year-old boy last seen with his dad at disneyland. homicide detectives found the body of aramazd andressian. that boy was found on friday, the same day his father was returning to southern california from las vegas where he was arrested last week. he has denied harming the boy. investigators have been searching for the boy since his father was found passed out in a large park in april.

prosecutors say he killed the boy to get back at his estranged wife who he was sharing custody with as they went through a divorce. the 49ers organization is mourning the loss of a punter. max runager was reportedly found dead on friday. this is in a parking lot in south carolina. he spent his first five seasons with the eagles before joining san francisco. the niners went on 15-1 in his first season and beat miami to win the super bowl. he was 61 years old. >> we have been waiting for this moment. tesla says it is almost ready to turn out the model three. >> scott mcgrew, you are incredulous. i am. tesla is never on time. they seem to be on time this time.

be up to 84 degrees in morgan hill. 80 in milpitas. and for the east bay a wide range in temperatures from 70 in oakland to 85 degrees in walnut creek and 85 degrees in livermore. for the peninsula, 61 in half moon bay. don't look for a lot of sunshine there today either and we'll be in the mid-70s with sun in palo alto and 75. 65 on the embarcadero and the outer sunset looking at a high of 60 degrees. we'll see low 60s in point reyes. you may be off today and plan on hittinging the links in the tri-valley, it's going to be a very warm day. so if you are going to be going out to the golf course tee times should be early in the morning. we'll be already at 74 degrees at 11:00. up to 80 at noon and then seeing the high temperatures reaching into the upper 80s. and then later on this evening the white sox in town with the oakland a's. it will be in the mid-70s throughout the afternoon as you're tailgating, getting ready

for the fireworks later on tonight. we'll see nice weather will be settling into oakland as we go into this evening. looking ahead to what we're expecting for this holiday todayly warmer temperatures inland. tomorrow the marine layer stays and that means that san francisco will see fog and coastal clouds while the valleys will be clear in time for those fireworks shows. our temperatures in san francisco stays in the mid-60s as we go throughout the week. no major changes here but we will see more of a range in temperatures for the inland areas. we'll be in the mid-80s today. cool midweek and then those temperature will be getting to ramp up as we head to the week looking at some low 90s and also very low humidities. so we'll be also tracking the fire danger as well. head iing over to vianey, a lotf issues out there early on the roads this morning. yeah, unfortunately we started off with that deadly crash and we continue to follow it because it's still causing heavy backups along westbound 80

the so-called spring fire is burning in mayor poe is a and it's forcing many families there out of their homes this holiday weekend. right now the fire is only about 10% contained. you can see from the video there the real issue is the mountainous terrain. that is the biggest obstacle. many structures are threatened. no reports of any damage from that fire yet. new this morning 31 people are injured and nearly 20 unaccounted for after a tour bus crashed into a truck, bursting into flames. it happened in bavaria near the czech border. this footage of the bus which was burned down to a black smoking skeleton. authorities say the bus crashed into the truck at the end of a traffic jam. right now 17 people are feared to have died. there's no information yet about what happened to the truck driver. in arkansas investigators are looking fors after shots were fired. this happened early saturday morning during a rap concert.

more than two dozen people were shot. luckily no one was killed. they believe multiple shooters were involved. the a man is being called a person of interest. the suspect in a road rage killing in pennsylvania is behind bars this morning. 28-year-old david desper is charged with first-degree murder. the killing happened back on wednesday. desper is accused of shooting and killing 18-year-old biamco roberson who recently graduated high school. officials say desper was upset the way roberson was merging on the freeway. they used surveillance video to identify desper as the suspect. an investigation right now is under way to find out how a plane burst into flames at denver international airport this weekend. it experienced engine trouble

and it's going to be very nice just like the weekend we just came off of around the bay area. we are seeing mostly clear skies. looking at the live camera in san jose. it's 58 degrees. also 58 in the peninsula. 51 degrees in the north bay. you can see how foggy it is and also low clouds over san francisco, and it will start to drizzle soon. as we go into this afternoon we're going to see the highs for the tri-valley reaching into the mid-80s. it will be a little bit warmer inland and up to 85 degrees for the north bay, san francisco 65 degrees. the marin county fair happening today and fireworks again tonight. we'll see temperatures there dropping back into the upper 50s in san rafael. i'll have a look at some more events going on where you can catch the fireworks and the forecast coming up. vianey's tracking how it looks as you head out for the morning drive. >> we're definitely seeing holiday light traffic throughout the rest of the bay area now. we were seeing a little bit of an incident but that has now cleared off of the area and is

we're going to enjoy our time. cool temperatures along the coast and warmer temperature land. as we get a live look outside are from mt. hamilton looking over the south bay a gorgeous start at 5:50 and all clear skies there. looking live to twin peaks. looking at today's high temperatures, we'll be in the mid-80s in the north bay, up to 85 in santa rosa, concord. 86 degrees. 85 in livermore. also some mid-80s for the south bay. bring the long sleeves and a jacket there, also half moon bay, 62 degrees in san francisco up to 65. as you look out the window getting ready and we start out with the need for a jacket because it is cool but short sleeves because we do have this wide range in temperatures, also a good day to make sure you have those sunglasses, too. if you plan to enjoy fireworks watching the a's later on this evening we will see the first pitch at 6:05.

white house. president obama met with him in seoul. accord iing to the presidential office they talked about the visit with president trump. obama will speak at a leadership forum hosted by a local daily newspaper today. >> travelers coming from abu dhabi international are now allowed to use electronics on u.s.-bound flights. the tsa says the airport and airline put in new enhanced security measures the agency announced last week instead of expanding the ban. in washington state an amtrak train carrying nearly 270 people derailed. sunday afternoon the train ran off the rails around 2:30 near tacoma yesterday. four of the train's 15 cars derailed. all the passengers were evacuated safely and were bussed to their destinations.

intrepid meteorologist kari hall with a look at this holiday forecast. >> and fog is not on vacation either. the low clouds are hanging around in san francisco. and it looks like it's not going where. that may hamper some of your fireworks viewing opportunities heading into the next couple of days. we are lookingality our sun rise happening as we speak. we are getting some light in the sky, the tri-valley 56 and 51. the fog in the north bay. also from our view at at&t park looking to the embarcadero it's 5 2 degrees. temperatures warmer. 75 for the peninsula and 65 for san francisco. the east bay will see a high of 70 degrees. i'll have a look at some places where you'll be able to catch some fireworks today and what's ahead for tomorrow as you make plans. that's coming up in a few minutes. vianey takes us out there on the roadways in one spot that's really been causing a lot of problems for those drivers in the east bay.
