7:06 am
>> jeremy, if you're donald trump jr. and you are involved in this meeting and the news of it breaks and you are forced to reveal the e-mail chain that led to that meeting, why at that moment don't you also reveal who else was in the room? why are we just finding out about this? >> it's possible that the individuals in that meeting, including paul manafort, who has a long history of working with russians and working with individuals from overseas countries, that he knew this person had longstanding ties to soviet intelligence. and that that would be a fact that would be very problematic for them to reveal at this moment, because again, it would show that the trump campaign had knowledge, detailed knowledge. >> but a drip, drip, drip, is worse than just coming out and revealing everybody that was in the room. >> no doubt, matt. it is clear they had a lot to hide about this meeting they did not want to reveal to the public. >> jeremy bash, our nbc news exclusive. there is mounting pressure from democrats this morning for jared kushner, trump's
