and then, you put the salt in. this will give you flexibility when you cook it. >> that's the thing about the skewers, you think they're easy. but often, the meet is overcooked. >> this is a great trick. things that don't have as much fat, put it in the brian. you want to do turkey as another thing. put it in there. and when you cook it, it's nice and easy. we're going to take some wings and we're going to secure them up. put it right through there. >> you soak the skewers. that's important, why? >> every time you put it on the grill, it burns. every time you burn it. it's not fun. if you soak it in water, it keeps it from burning. we use bamboo skewers.

household name and one day multiple white house officials now confirm to nbc news that spicer resigned from that position. anthony scaramucci was offered a position and accepted a position someone who worked very closely with spicer. spicer has expressed great reservations about the hiring of scaramucci and suggesting he wasn't prepared for a communication's job that that's not where his past experience was. as we speak right now, the press has actually been ushered out of the upper area outside spicer's office. i saw inside the room, there was a big all-staff meeting taking place as we speak right now, including deputy press secretary inside, sarah huckabee sanders and the chief of staff reince priebus. what's striking here is that scaramucci, the new communication's director, has long clashed with reince priebus, the chief of staff. this is the latest in what is a

series of chaotic episodes. this really the first major shakeup here, craig, within the white house now affecting the press secretary who is expected to depart almost effectively immediately. >> peter, at this point any word on who becomes the new full-time press secretary there? >> it's a good question and, as you'll know, we haven't had a on-camera white house press briefing in a matter of weeks. this white house communication strategy has been different than the communication strategies of white houses before it right now. we've seen sarah huckabee sanders take the podium in recent days, but most of those briefings take place now off camera. who becomes the press secretary, that's the question we don't have the answer to right now. the president has been considering, as he's expressed frustration and considering individuals from the conservative commentators in the past. but at this point, craig, we don't know who will take that role. >> our man at the white house, peter alaxeneder.
