handled a sexual assault on one of its campuses. bob, united statesably parents are outraged over this case. what do we know about what's happening today? >> reporter: good morning. later today an independent investigator will present its results to the palo alto school board on how well or how poorly it handled an alleged sexual assault of a freshman girl behind me by a boy who was a junior at the time. this is according to the "pal al weekly." the school district first became aware of the alleged assault last year, but as we reported in may, parents were very angry when they learned the school district allowed the boy to remain tess school, not only after having been accused of the assault, but after having been convicted of another assault offcampus. that boy, who is a minor, eventually left palo alto high on its own.

hours, now everyone will see the rain. it will not be as crazy as it was month evening with all of the lightning that we had. one moving also around the month ray area, but a lot of that moving not into the bay area, moving off towards the west. watching some of the rain moving a -- as well as napa county, some light rain there, and some light anything moving closer to brentwood. i'll ten to monitor that and what else could be popping up. as we head over to mike, there's a crash in the north bay. >> we're looking at speed sensors, and all looking great except for the altamont. the bigger issue is in the north bay, where we're tracking this crash south 101, down to the golden gate bridge, reports of a crash that left debris across all lanes. we see all the traffic jamming up south of the robin williams
