"the washington post" contacted her after reporters heard allegations moore had sought relationships with teenage girls. >> she sees roy moore about to ascend to the u.s. senate, and

deduction untouched. and the senate's proposal would fully repeal the deduction for state and local taxes. if both chambers pass a different bill, they'll have to find a compromise between the two plans before president trump's desk. trump administration says it is confident a tax bill will pass by the end of the year. now to the latest allegations of sexual misconduct to rock hollywood. five women have come forward to "the new york times" with disturbing accusations against popular comedian louis c.k. miguel almaguer has more on this. good morning. >> reporter: savannah, good morning. he's one of the biggest names in comedy. successful in just about everything he's done. louis c.k.'s accusers say he abused his power to commit sexual misconduct. the six-time emmy winner is best known for edgy comedy. >> men can [ bleep ] whatever. >> reporter: ripped from his own life. >> i'm at a constant state of agitation.

>> reporter: now louis c.k. faces serious sexual misconduct accusations. xhe comiedic partners telling "the new york times" in 2002, they were invited into the comedian's hotel room for a nightcap. he proceeded to take all of his clothes off and get completely naked and started masturbating, goodman says. we were paralyzed. according to the times, in 2005, comedian rebecca corey says she was asked by louis c.k. if he could pleasure himself in front of her. it happened, cory says, during the filming of a pilot. when she declined, his face got red and he told me he had issues. five women, all sharing similar stories, not verified by nbc news. describing for the times louis c.k.'s pattern of behavior as abusive. fearing retribution if they

spoke out earlier. nbc news reached out to louis c.k.'s representative several times and got no response. his publicist reportedly told "the new york times" in an e-mail, louis is not going to answer any questions. the premiere of louis c.k.'s new film was just canceled. the studio saying in a statement, there is never a place for the behavior detailed in these allegations. as a result, we are giving careful consideration to the timing and release of the film and continue to review the situation. this morning fx says it never received any allegations of misconduct against louis c.k. related to any shows it produced. hbo says it has dropped him from an upcoming network special and is pulling episodes from his past performances on its on-demand services. willie and savannah? >> miguel almaguer, thank you. a power struggle between the

league's most influential owner, jerry jones, and the league's commissioner roger goodell. ron mott is in chicago to explain this one for us. ron, good morning. >> reporter: good morning. roger goodell is probably getting used to being a target. last season patriots fans took him to task over tom brady's suspension. now it's jerry jones who has a bone to pick. no stranger to controversy this year, nfl commissioner roger goodell apparently has found a new foe. jerry jones. the powerful owner of the dallas cowboys. the nfl says it's aware of the outspoken team owner's threat to sue the league and some of his fellow owners as early as today. taking aim at goodell over the commissioner's contract negotiations. jones has reportedly been on happy about a key suspension initiated by goodell on his own team. star player ezekiel elliott back on suspension after a court ruling thursday. elliott was punished by goodell in august after an accusation of

domestic violence by a former girlfriend. an accusation that has not resulted in criminal charges. "the new york times" reports that david boies, an attorney who represented al gore in the infamous florida presidential recount, and whose firm is caught up in the harvey weinstein scandal, has been hired by jones. at issue, whether jones has a case to stop or delay goodell's contract extension. according to the times, jones announced his plans to pursue legal options to 16 team members who are tasked with working on the parameters of goodell's contract. the nfl's top man for over a decade, goodell earned more than $44 million in 2012, and a league spokesman told nbc news, regardless of jones' threat, there have been amicable and productive discussions on a five-year contract extension into 2024. it's anticipated the negotiations will be wrapped up soon. the dallas cowboys have declined to comment to nbc news. but the feud between jones and goodell just the latest

premature in the united states every week. and november is national prematurity awareness month. >> this is a sweet story. we caught up with joanie and brian washburn, from ohio, as they brought home baby cayden for the first time, after he spent two months in the nicu at cleveland clinic children's hospital. ♪ >> he was pretty sick. he's one of the kids that keeps you up at night. >> reporter: little cayden washburn's story began with a fight for his life. his mom, joanie, seven months pregnant, was in a car accident and rushed by ambulance to the nearest hospital. >> i knew immediately when my phone rang because she leaves work at 4:30. and at 4:33, my phone was ringing. i knew something was up. and you could hear panic in her voice. >> reporter: joanie underwent an emergency c-section. she heard that miraculous sound.

cayden cried a few times. then, nothing. dr. matthew and his team worked desperately to save him. for 12 minutes, cayden was silent, unresponsive. >> they were working on him. i remember the doctors shaking their heads no every time they would listen to him. and also, he just kind of woke up and looked around at everybody standing around him. he was like, what's up? >> reporter: just two days later, cayden started having seizures. he was strong enough for his neurosurgery and had a shunt implanted in his head. >> when the doctor first came to visited us after he was having seizu seizures, they said, you might want to get him baptized or blessed. >> at first, it was hard to be positive. then, we put on a brave face and every night we said, we're not going to cry around him. we want to be positive.

we want positive vibes around him. >> there's no way around it. it's a rollercoaster ride. some days you walk out of the nicu feeling like a million bucks. and other days, it's the darkest day of your life. >> he was in the fragile state. he closed the door to the nursery. we had the sonogram pictures on the fridge. >> you look at the clock. like, let's try to make it to 12:00. >> reporter: caroline was the neonatal care. >> they are getting over that brief of the loss of a normal pregnancy. and they need emotional support. >> you're allowed to be angry and happy at the small victories. you're allowed to be upset. it's hard to tell people what you want. they're like, what do you need? we want prayers. ♪
