5:09 am
people are still without power. the good news is the bulk of this storm looks to stay off shore. it's still gathering itself. we have moisture streaming in from the gulf of mexico. this is eventually going to develop into another coastal system. now we look at various computer models to determine where this is going to go. here's the european model. you can see the heaviest of the precipitation is off shore although we could see a grazing of some light to moderate snow especially back through parts of new england. the american model is a little bit closer on shore. that has the better chance of giving the carolinas maybe some snow and also bringing the snow back into new york city and upstate new york. so either way, this is not going to be a major snow maker. but we are still looking at the possibility of wind and we're also looking at some minor coastal flooding. as for snowfall totals, we're really looking at most of our moderate to heavy amounts across northern new england. otherwise, it's light amounts. any additional flood ago long the coast will be a problem for coastal areas and even winds up to 20, 25 miles per hour could cause even more damage. >> all right.

5:12 am
daniels' attorney doesn't buy it. >> mr. cohen wants the american people to believe that he was just out there doing all of this on his own and not reporting to anybody about it? it's not believable. >> reporter: today the president hits the campaign trail, heading to pennsylvania where democrats hope to take a republican house seat. the president will headline a rally for rick sacome. >> vick a great guy. i think he'll do well. he loves this area. he loves this country. >> so the president speaks tonight and joe biden was there for democrat connor lamb. now this is a part of pennsylvania where president trump did well in 2016. so he is risking something getting involved. voters decide tuesday who will replace this open seat. it has been republican. it's an open seat. and democrats think this is a good example to show their anti-trump voter enthusiasm. >> thank you, kelly. the white house bureau chief
