here are today's top business headlines, wall street is set for a positive open, stocks rallied yesterday as concerns over a potential military strike in syria eased. bank shares led to gains anticipating strong earnings across the financial sector, dow closing 294 points higher. the nasdaq gaining 71 points to close at 7,140. after spending months criticizing amazon and ceo jeff bezos, president trump signed an executive order creating a task force to evaluate the u.s.

postal offices operations and finances. while the executive order doesn't mention amazon by name, the president accused the e commerce giant of harming the postal service in the weeks leading up to the announcement. the newly minted task force is expected to submit findings within 120 day. credit card signatures are about to become a thing of the past. major credit card companies will no longer require signatures to authenticate purchases. it goes into effect for master card and discover and visa will follow suit later this month. ultimately it will be up to the store to decide whether or not to eliminate them completely. back over to you. >> with identity theft, why take away a layer. >> there you go. >> time 4:40. happening today, east bay is about to look a bit more like the wild wild west. >> 14 bison are on their way to the oakland zoo.

have a lot going on. >> all coordinated this morning and we're ready for a great weekend. we start out with nice weather this morning, all clear, skies. another view of that building you can see there lit up in warriors colors. as we look at the seven-day forecast, it's coming up at the bottom of the screen. here's a look at the highs, up to 74 degrees in santa rosa, one of the warmer spots today and palo alto, 68 degrees, 70 in livermore and 72 in antioch. you do need layers, it's a chilly start. also, a hat, nice warm jacket and then later on today you'll be able to take off those layers but it's going to stay cool at half moon bay today. and a lot of people are getting ready for the weekend. if you're making beach plans, head ae head's up that there's a beach hazard statement in effect. we will have long period swells up to 20 feet with the breakers. watch out for the sneaker waves

and rip current and currently we're seeing winds come in from the north at half moon bay or around half moon bay with waves at 13 feet right now. we still have these storm systems offshore, many of them have been fairly weak and we're seeing rain to the north of the bay area and as we go into the weekend, that system will be dipping in bringing us rain by early sunday morning. we could still see the light rain by early turs morning with snow in the ee esierra. more rain moving in. we will still have several waves of some showers moving in. meantime we're going to enjoy a nice weekend warming temperatures. san francisco up to 68 degrees. look how much it cools off early next week. showers moving in on monday, inland areas go from 75 on saturday to 58 for the high on monday. as we head over to mike, a

new -- you have new info -- >> from an unnamed source. his name is aaron, nice beard. he was checking on highway 17 and highway 17 through campbell, san jose, moving nicely. as with all of these, it's a light drive for much of the bay. but highway 17 southbound, right around vine hill, there was a car that crashed into that. a few minutes and that completely clear. no slowing on the sensors but at the scene you're down to one lane. the south county for highway 101, moves nicely, gilroy and morgan hill and without delay. good stuff. we'll take you out toward our waze system, slowing out of tracy and livermore for westbound 205 and 580, pretty typical. this blue line takes you over two hours but look at this, zigzag gets you past the slowing and jump back on to 580 past the
