showed up and never returned home. police officers say her cell phone is turned off. they say she don't know why. she might have run away. she was last seen wearing black north face jacket. >> across the bay, an 11-year-old girl also missing. police asking you to keep an eye out for diana flores. she was last seen before 9:00 near camino real and bay street. diana was wearing a green sweatshirt with the word "pink" printed on it. frightening moments in a neighborhood, a mountain lion. caught on camera walking down the sidewalk in east foothills. instead of heading back into the hills, it wonders deeper into the neighborhood. as you can imagine, neighbors taken extra precautions. >> the bay's jean elle talks to them. >> reporter: a mountain lion caught on security camera walking down the street before midnight monday headed towards

a mixed sessions for stocks yesterday. nasdaq and s&p 500 rose but dow slipped on the back of ibms disappointing earnings. oil prices at levels not seen since nature 2014, nearing $70 a barrel. a government data shows drop in u.s. crude supply and saudi arabia called for higher prices. dow falling to 2478, nasdaq adding 14 to 7295. whole foods shutting down its awards program, digital coupons and customer accounts may 2nd. the grocery chain will pull everything to amazon prime. reports say unused rewards won't roll over into prime.

we know we're going to warm up for the weekend. we're going from winter to spring to summer all in one week. here is a look at the system that moved through yesterday. really it just stayed offshore for the bay area. then as we look at that loop, all the green, it's going to start to work its way inland just to the south of the bay area. it's continuing to move closer to l.a. and also producing some lightning. we are done with the rain as that moves away from us. look at how cold it is now. you walk out the door in naapa, 35, 49 livermore, san jose. forecast at the bottom of the screen. you'll see warmer temperatures just in time for the weekend. low 70s for parts of the north bay and santa rosa, 70 antioch, 66 livermore and palo alto, 65 not pad at all. as we get dressed this morning, one of those days you do need a jacket.

you'll probably want to take it off later today as temperatures warm up. because we don't have any rain today you can wear your nice dress shoes and not worry about stepping in puddles. also because we have such dry conditions and everything blossoming and blooming right now, the tree pollen is really high, oak and mulberry and grasses. but the good news is you can go ahead and wash the car because there's for rain in the forecast as we go into the next seven days and temperatures will warm up. going from 61 in san francisco to low 70s for the weekend and 80 degrees on saturday. the warmest day sunday 83 degrees. looks like we'll have a beach weekend ahead. do over to vianey. any issues on the road? >> no but i'll take you up on that offer for the weekend and also get a car wash. we're off to a good start. we haven't seen major accidents but now chp is reporting looking like a traffic hazard along bay

bridge, westbound side right near the toll plaza. can you see the slowing there. our traffic cams are showing. chp not reporting exactly what the traffic hazard is but judging by this, it's either the traffic hazard or metering lights are on or combination of both. bay bridge is your commute head out now, we're seeing that back-up building in that area. drive times 680 from 580 to vargas road, northbound 238 to 580, only about two minutes. send it back to you. >> thank you very much vianey. 4:47. king coverage now we're hearing from the pilot who safely landed that southwest plane in philadelphia after its engine exploded. captain tammie jo shults made history as one of the first female fighter pilots in the navy. she's now being credited for keeping an amazing sense of calm

emeryville a very good thursday morning to you. a lovely live look outside overlooking emeryville. nice and clear but that means it's cool as well. as you step out the door you'll notice it. 4:53 right now. >> nbc bay area responds to yet another issue involving cheap flight deals. >> chris gomorrah helps a san francisco man with a low fare mix-up. >> with three to choose from travelers in the bay area can often find great deals on flights if you know where to look. nathan is one of those bargain hunters. when he saw united airlines selling round trip flights to hawaii for $197 each, he quickly snapped up two seats. but a few days later nathan noticed his credit card was charged $347 per addict.

that's $150 more than he thought he was paying per seat leaving a total of $300 up in the air. nathan said he called united airlines and was told there was a system error. united then offered to cancel the trip and refund his money. but nathan wanted the bargain fare he initially paid for, a flight to hawaii for less than $200. that's when nathan asked us to help. we reached out to united. the airline told us a technical error occurred when our customer booked his tickets causing an incorrect additional charge and a delay in the tickets being issued. united let nathan keep the flight, it apologized and refunded the $300 that was in limbo. whenever you try to pookbook a flight, especially can't miss deal, you've got to make sure you get an e-mailed receipt almost immediately after purchase, within a couple minutes or hour or so. if you don't get a confirmation within that period, call the airline right away to ensure the

close to 5:00. good morning, i'm laura garcia. >> i'm marcus washington. an update on what's going on weather wise. today looks like a nice one? >> it is a great day. it does start off cool but then sunshine warming those temperatures late morning spoke early afternoon, it is going to be beautiful. that morning drive, though, is going to be chilly. make sure you grip the steering wheel. all the high temperatures in the 60s and 70s today. this is where we should be. this weekend with record highs. i'll detail that in a few minutes. the morning commute, we're looking at that san mateo bridge. >> starting to see traffic build up, also spots on the road, 680. i do have a an update on the
