francisco a fire erupted at golden gate golf course. sk >> what does it look like out there? >> yeah. i just spoke with fire officials. i have confirmed that the clubhouse burned but no reports of injuries. i'll show you live pictures. the fire is completely out. fire officials say it may take several days. this is the western edge of golden gate park. water pressure is low in this part of the city. again, the fire is out and no reports of injuries. we know it is supposed to be held in in part of the park. we don't know if it will be

nine people-- including six children-- are hurt after a man armed with a knife went on a stabbing spree at children )s birthday party. authorities arrested 30 year old timmy earl kinner.. police say kinner was staying at the apartments with welcome back. a man went on a stabbing spree at a child's birthday party. he came back saturday night looking for revenge. the person he was staying with was gone. police say he found other targets. while all of the victims survived some do have life threatening injuries. some are refugees. >> our victims are some of the newest members of our community.

32,000 acres have burned so far. the fire is burning pretty much unchecked. only 2% contained. how is it going, pete? >>. >> reporter: good morning. you can smell the smoke in the air. we are just off of highway 128 and pleasant valley road. you can see behind me that's where the road closures are at. that's where they are having the mandatory evacuation it. they said they are actually staying put. some are going up to them at the end of the day. that is where the road is closed. we want to show you this video. it is north of where we are standing. this is off of highway 16.

the fire has been burning through tens of thousands of acres some of that smoke and ash reaching parts of the bay area. we heard about reports of that over the weekend. it is a result of the county fire. here is the information north of highway 128 south of county road 23 and to the east there. that's where mandatory evacuations are. we'll keep an eye on conditions here and i'll have another update in the next hour. we are live here. today in the bay. >> all right. we have been following you on twitter as well. >> that's right. the pawnee fire now 73% contained. some mandatory evacuations in effect because the flames jumped containment lines over the weekend. 22 structures have been

destroyed. 14,000 acres have burned. all of these fires making for some very bad air quality right now. this is a live look at the bay bridge toll plaza. still a little dark. look at what the ride on the bridge looked like yesterday. that is smoke and ash in the air. a lot of folks tell us they have ash covering their lawns including in san francisco. >> you have any respiratory issues? >> yeah. that bothers me a lot. >> while the bay area quality management kid not order a spare the air alert it did issue a smoke advisory telling people to stay inpseudoif there's a lot of smoke where you live or if you see falling ash. >> more plaintiffs will join a class action lawsuit. the suit says that the company

contracted by the navy to clean c contaminated soil didn't. two former supervisors were were sent to prison in may at about the same time that class action lawsuit was filed. the attorneys planned to announce 2,000 additional plaintiffs. they are holding a news conference later in san francisco. friends who were killed in a warehouse fire could learn the fate of the men accused in that case. on friday derrick were in court. each facing 36 counts of involuntary manslaughter. one count for each person who died in that fire. sources tell us lawyers for the men are finalizing separate plea agreements for the judge which means the case will not go trial. the hearing resumes tomorrow. both men accused of illegally converting that warehouse into living space. bike safety advocacy.

the waves swept them up. when she went in after them the waves swept her up as well. we don't know her name yet but we know she is 47 years old and from the east bay. border arrests low ared ending four straight monthly increases. it could be a sign the zero tolerance is deterring people. police arrested two people outside the family services in fairfield yesterday. protesters say at least a dozen children force aid part from their parents. it also houses unaccompanied minors who showed up at the border two years ago. when police asked them to stay on the sidewalk two refused.
