and i )m mau tracking some drizzle for your morning commute. thanks for joining us. we'll get to your traffic in just a moment. rain right now wouldn't be a problem. >> right. and this definitely shapes up much better than we were hoping. it is a possibility it would be a dry lightning storm. it is a couple of spotty showers. it is just enough to make the roads wet for just a few minutes and now for most of us it has moved on. we widen out the deal and most of the rain is offshore and some of the showers we are seeing coming down is in parts of northern sonoma county. we'll be tracking this looking at low clouds over san francisco. we'll talk about what's ahead coming up. yeah. we have been watching highway 4. very easy. a little bit of indeks over

he was wearing what looks like a police or sheriffs badge. take a look. you can see that badge on his belt. he also wears a wide rim hat. in one of the photos he appear to have a gun inside his shirt. he pulled it out during a number of the bank robberies. it is one reason they consider him to be armed an dangerous. agents with the fbi updated the summer to the north to the bay area and started robbing banks here and other places throughout northern california. you can see in san ramon in addition to the towns of clermont and santa clarita. he pointed the gun according to

of your savings goes down. inflation is at a six year high. facebook defending alex jones saying it will continue to allow it to run video on its site even as it cracks down on fake news. they say the government has children hidden on mars among other things. we see cages on the left and right pumping out what they consider opinion or analysis. others call fake news. we believe it would be contrary to the basic principals of free speech. it also allows third parties to see who is there your private group. the problem was discovered by a group of women. it would have been true of my group describing anything. on a lighter note i want you to

showers for parts of the peninsula towards sfo and then extending towards oakland. we'll see at times light showers moving through and overall looking at a very muggy morning. warmer temperatures we are used to stepping out the door to. it is 66 in livermore. as we check out our temperature trends for today, upper 60s at 9:00. you can see there will be a mix of sun and clouds. at noon at 79 degrees heading into the mid-80s today. the humidity will make it feel warmer than the temperature. we'll feel very warm reaching into the low 90s. it is 85 today in napa, 74 in oak and. san jose high of about 86 degrees. i want to show you the hour by hour forecast. it shows that moisture bringing the chance of spotty showers. so we'll still have storm ranger

here in san jose to give us the best view of what exactly is happening and if this is falling from the sky actually makes it to the ground. it will be key as we have seen a level of dry air just below the clouds. i'll continue to monitor that for you. everything is clearing out. at 5:00 we are at 78 degrees. as you're taking your spot it will be nice and comfortable with sunshine. this weekend it will be warm for the valleys, reaching the upper 80s. mostly sunny skies. no cool down on the way unless you're in san francisco it stays comfortable, breezy with highs in the mid-60s. a humid start to the week. >> yeah. i wanted to make sure. humid. we are talking about potential for sprinkles here and there. it won't be a may jjor issue.

good morning and thank you for joining us. i )m marcus washington. and i )m laura garcia. good friday morning to you. let me show you the rain. that's our mobile doppler radar. we are able to move it around the bay area to get the best view of exactly what's happening. look at this, some lightning. we are tracking that well to the north as we get a look at parts of the county as the rain continues to move through farther to the north. also heavier rain that's been moving through northern sonoma. we are also tracking light showers moving through the peninsula.

this is all because of the moisture that moved through and the models still showing some rain possible as we go through the south bay through the 7:00 to 8:00 hours. by 10:00 we could see some spotty showers moving through the east bay. a lot to track here as we go through the morning and throughout the day as that humidity stays high into the afternoon. we'll talk about what this means for your weekend plans coming up. they may have to do a couple of flights through the windshield wipers. you may have to tap your brakes. you can use cash lanes to get by. it would be the typical time even if traffic flows through. it is very light through the rest of the bay bridge. a little bit of slowing. we'll track that. it is on pace. a little bit of slowing.

officials say there were roughly 6 to 8 emergency officials waiting on the flight's return. the runway opening about a minute or two later. i want to show you guys the actual flight path of this flight. you can see the path of the flight as it circled around back to sfo. some times there is a fuel dump when this happens depending on the airlines. i'm working to see if it was the case or if they were able to burn off the fuel. this is what they told our camera crews once they returned. >> they told us we were going to turn around. other people were talking about there being maybe fire from the engines. >> there was two loud sounds and two big spots. it is from the back to the front. it was a fuel smell.

phone call. >> the thing to have done would have been to immediately inform the police department of this specific threat and they didn't do it. >> they learned when an internal affairs team performed an audit. >> we are learning about a missing woman. deputies may have spotted angela hernandez near monterey. she was driving a white jeep patriot but has not been heard from since last thursday night. it shows a car like her jeep in monterey county the next day. our families hope $10,000 will help bring her home safely. a woman accused of tossing a small dog in february. the chihuahua was left by its

the bigger picture shows the main amount of energy is off to the west over the pacific. hour by hour forecast shows this may bring in spotty rain for parts of the east bay and peninsula as it moves through north the rest of the morning it kind of falls apart. there will be a potential for getting lightning. i'll keep an eye on that with storm ranger and mobile doppler radar. as we go to martinez for the rest of the day upper 60s in the forecast starting out this morning. warming up into the mid-70s and low 80s for early afternoon. all of our high temperatures pretty much staying the same. mid-80s in the north bay and low 90s for the tri valley and 86 degrees in san jose. we are seeing a few clouds this morning and the rain has moved out of the south bay. this is a very warm start and a hot afternoon. a good day for sleeveless shirts

eastbound 580 will start to build pretty early. looking at this coming towards us. a steady flow of traffic. both directions were slow. we'll look back over here and look to this side. the eastbound traffic is starting to ease. what happened is overnight construction crews were clearing for a few minutes there. closer to home we have an easy drive. it the upper east shore. it is only the bay bridge toll plaza. it does have a back up because that traffic is on. over here a little farther north we have seen the steady flow of traffic. nothing big. we don't have anything there. and a nice drive or ride i should say. bart has over 50 transactions. it is over 50 trains on time. let somebody else do the
