temperatures in concord today. by 2:00 there we go up a few more degrees from there for our high temperatures. we'll take a look at that and like you're still tracking a closure from overnight. >> yeah. an overturned big rig is what's going on. it's tough to see. that's how tough the conditions are. more crews continue to be out. it is northbound 101 to eastbound 92. getting over towards the san mateo bridge. it will remain closed. right now we don't have an official clearing time. not a lot of progress reporting. probably the easiest right now. we'll watch as the morning commute starts.

right now no problems getting around that crash. we'll follow you. back to you. >> thank you very much. a popular restaurant on fire once again overnight. you probably heard of this. it is closed. firefighters mop up another fire. today bob is there live. you actually covered the first fire that happened there about four years ago. >> reporter: yes. good morning to you. fortunately it is nowhere as destructive from 2014. they have a contractor out here that is trying to do repair to the damage. you can see the damage is confined to the kitchen door where they are standing and also the exthe exterior wall. this fire started around 9:00 last night. it was already closed. no one inside. the fire department tells us

they had it out in 15 minutes. firefighters did have at least one, posz bl two holes in the roof to prevent the fire from spreading to the attic. fire department not ruling anything out. someone did tell us they would be closed today. now this is video of the first fire. this is back on july 7th of 2014. it is just over four years ago. that fire started outside near garbage cans. it caused much more damage. the restaurant did not open until a number of months later. that's all it took for them to rebuild. food and wine magazine published an article talking about how that devastating fire made it a better restaurant. the head chef was able to maintain the ratings over the past couple of years. today in the bay.

good morning. wall street is set to open. the dow opened and the broader market struggled. on today's watch list he testifies before congress about the economy. the dow rising to 25054. shares of netflix are down after the streaming company added 5 million new subscribers in the latest quarter. that is well short of what he was expecting. they did talk about more competition and they say it's

look at our south bay and our highs today from the upper 80s to 95 again today in gilroy. for the east bay concord reaching 95. hayward expect a high of 82 degrees today. low 60s for half-moon bay. it will be slow to clear and looking at 80 in san mateo. mostly mid-to upper 60s. a brisk westerly wind with clouds and drizzle that you're already seeing this morning and low 90s today. so getting dressed this morning another day for short sleeves and shorts especially if you're away from the coast where we will have the hotter temperatures today. we are breaking out the coupler gear. we'll have a surge of moisture today. we can see the humidity

san mateo bridge. it is lanes for just a couple of minutes. it cleared to the shoulder as you approach that interchange. this just moved quickly to the shoulder. this is on the hayward side. we're looking at the closure. northbound to eastbound 92. that's the bridge getting back to the heywaayward side. it is getting over towards city boulevard. that's your route right now. very light traffic. we'll track that. chp doesn't know when they will be able to reopen that today. it is about 80,000 pounds of rig and whatever it was carrying. the south bay moves very smoothly. no problems right now. back to you. >> thank you. 4:49 right now. the bay area bus drive their brought a gun to work picked out for the first time. >> senior investigative reporter

joins us with a new development looking at the violent attacks on drivers in the east bay. good morning. steven williams says he feared for his life and felt he had no choice but to bring a gun to product himse protect hichlmself on the job. he said he even gave the rider his phone number. when a rider refused to stop playing a vulgar video he asked him to leave the bus. the t rider sent him multiple texts threatening to beat him up. a rise in violent attacks and they would install shields to protect drivers. it still hasn't happened. he e-mailed them to let them know he was arrested. he said he regrets the decision but hopes leaders take action so drivers don't feel the need to arm themselves.
