today in the bay continues right now. >> we have fog for the coast. inland areas starting out clear. we take a live look outside it is 59 degrees. it is one of those spots that will heat up. we'll check out our temperature trend for walnut creek going from the mid-70s at 10:00. if you have to get outside and do things in the yard or you outdoor activity look at how hot it will be this afternoon. you'll need to take it easy and find some air-conditioning.

good morning. >> yeah. what it means is that median parking that you see behind me, that's going to be permanent at least on certain days. primarily we are talking about the weekend. where we are standing, that's going to be effected by all of this. it is on saturdays and sundays. decision by the city comes after a 16 month pilot program was permitted after neighbors complained about the ongoing median parking in the area.

it had been eliminated due to parking and they have been significantly reduced. today in the bay. >> thanks so much. it is nearly the end of the road for a road through san francisco. it connects to lincoln boulevard. about a week ago they announced plans to close it permanently and turn it sinto a trail. it takes effect on friday. drivers will be able to access on mcdowel avenue.

the east bay will also have the widest range in temperatures going from 75 in oakland to 99 in antioch. livermore 96 degrees. it is low 80s for palo alto. it could bring in showers and lightning near by. i'll be monitoring the chance for that. it will increase our fire danger especially for the hills. more updates as we go into the next couple of days with highs reaching into the low 90s. >> yeah. we have to start there again.

and all kinds of stuff. just be prepared for quickly changing weather. here is a look at clouds rolling over the south bay. we'll see the clouds mixing in with low 60s. it heats up into the mid-80s later today. we keep the clouds and the fog at half-moon bay. it only reaches 63 there. it is 89 in san jose. it is 105 today. we'll talk about what's ahead for the weekend. you have two big jams? >> we do. there is a bridge crew and chp crews and crash blocks two out of three lanes.
