live from the store - at the top of the hour. the man accused of stabbing 18 year old nia wilson to death on a bart platform is expected in court later this morning. last night wilson )s father returned to the mcarthur bart station to see a growing memorial. ansar mohammed was greeted by tearful supporters. an artist from the east coast gave him a portrait he painted of nia waering a death to racism shirt. bart police say john lee cowell stabbed the 18-year-old you know, to speak justice with my daughter. >> they say he stabbed the 18-year-old to death on the bart platform sunday night also wounding her sister. the sister now recovering at

home. relativ relatives say the 27-year-old is mentally ill living on the streets. he was released from prison in may after serving time for second-degree robbery. only on nbc bay area we are hearing from the girl that sat next to him when he was arrested. he was taken home from work and said he boarded a train and says could have been her. >> nia wilson could have been any woman that looked like me or her. we shouldn't have to live like that in 2018. >> he saw on social media and immediately recognized him to call police and say how peaceful of it was when he was arrested. >> 4:33. also developing tourists only have a few hours left. noon is the deadline. that's when part of the state route 41 shuts down likely through sunday.

wall street could start the day in the red. think about the positive earnings. the nasdaq hit an all time high. earnings and the dow rising 197 points. the nasdaq slipping to 7840. walmart are extending their grocery delivery service.

san jose and livermore. antioch starts out at 62 degrees. let's head to walnut creek with temperatures in the upper 60s. we'll see our temperatures going up fairly quickly from there. looking at low 80s by 11:00 and 95 degrees by 2:00. we'll go up from there. as we look at our south bay temperatures expect a high of 93 degrees. it is 88 in downtown san jose going over towards the east bay here is a look at where it will be hottest. 100 degrees today will be very close in concord as well as danville reaching near the triple digits today while oakland will be up to 76 degrees. hayward at 79. we'll have the low clouds and fog and redwood city 82 degrees. marina district at 68.

$10,000 a year. out of state or private go ahead and double or triple that. what happens if you can't finish the semester. if you have tuition insurance and your child withdraws unexpectedly you could get some or all of the tuition and fees back. it only covers certain reasons. most do not cover flunking out or dropping out. emergency situations are part of the policy. okay. how much is it? at berkeley in state tuition is 14 grand. at other schools you might be automatically enrolled in the program. they say they add tuition insurance by default. keep an eye out for it. only pay for tuition insurance if you actually want it.
