starting on a light note as far as our weather. it will be slightly cooler but we have drifts of smoke coming through the bay area. all right a lot of people out the door. if you're on your way out the door about to make that morning commute expect temperatures to start out in the upper 50s through about 7:00 and then it starts to heat up. we are looking at sunshine all day long and temperatures by noon at 80 day forecast at the bottom of the screen we are looking at the peninsula. heading out the door to the bart station nice and cool there. light jacket needed for the morning hours. a few clouds and we will trend morning. we'll be warm in martinez. s.ok at these temperatures. heading into the mid-80s by

early afternoon. we'll have slightly cooler air even in some of the spots that have been heating up. for the south bay expect a high of 81. it is 93 still in gilroy. we are looking at low 90s in on the antioch and concord. upper 50s for much of san francisco again today. 55 in the mission district. knot b north bay up to 86 degrees. lightning strikes over the sif e bay area. i'm@karihallweather. we'll keep you up to date on what's happening. so we will have drifts of smoke and our temperatures nint week.
