shootings left several dead and dozens wounded in a weekend of bloody violence. at least 41 people were shot on sunday and eight killed. most of the shootings happened in a period of less than seven hours overnight saturday into sunday morning. the alleged gang-related shootings targeted large crowds on the city's south and west sides. fred waller says the police department is working to prevent these crimes. >> i promise this city that we won't be defeated and overrun by that small group, that small element that's committing these reckless acts. >> ten of those shot were taken to the same hospital for treatment. a narrative around the russia meeting in trump tower. while coming to the defense of his son on twitter, president trump admitted it was to get dirt on hillary clinton. the president said donald trump jr. did nothing wrong by meeting with a kremlin-connected attorney. kelly o'donnell tells us more

wells fargo. hi. >> hi, good morning to you. facebook has started testing its gaming service internally with employees. it will be a feature in the main facebook app and not a stand-alone product like messenger. facebook dating will let you create a separate profile. wells fargo is admitting customers lost their homes because of an error made by the bank. the company says a calculation made by a mortgage underwriting tool resulted in 625 customers being denied modifications to make their home loans more affordable and about 400 cases the homes wereoreclosed on. they happened between 2010 and 2015 and wells said it set aside $8 million for customers affected. beer sales are slipping and millennials may be the one to blame. drinkers arerdin beer less than half of the time when they buy alcohol.
