it is 4:46 right now. there is police activity in the eastbound lanes. we know that all but one lane is shut down because of a deadly shooting investigation that's underway right now. pete is on the bridge. he is trying to get more details. we'll check in with him in about 13 minutes.

they are reporting what happened to a shooting that turned into a multi-vehicle accident that involved three vehicles total. they are reporting that one lane does remain open. my speed sensors are picking up yellow now. originally it was completely solid red. i'm starting to see what looks to be some slight clearing. chp is saying there's no estimated time on them. now, we did have live pictures earlier. pete was there. he is still there now.
