you can see that bridge gone. >> at least ten vehicles are involved in this. this is not northern part of the city. they don't know if anyone was injured or dead in this situation. there is fear there are a lot of casualties there. a section of that bridge was gone. the bridge was completed in 1967 and over 3,000 feet long. right now chris sanchez is sifting through the photos. she is gathering more information for us. she'll bring us more of this coming up for you at 5:30. now to our other breaking international story this time in london. a man crashed his car into

barriers outside of the parliment. it is already being called an act of terror. that car swerving. police say that car struck several bystanders including a bicyclist. a police cruiser stolen. we are live in oakland with overnight details. it isn't the first time something like this has happened. >> that's right. we are confirming that this is the second time in two months an oakland police suv was stolen. we know the latest information is that the officers were on a call when all of this happened. they located this stolen suv here. the scene has since cleared. we want to show you video of

the boy before shooting him and fleeing. the victim's mother will join police officers by handing out fliers to bring awareness to the case. >> and new this morning animal abuse case. this is north bay. the animal legal defense fund is offering a $5,000 reward for information for the person responsible for killing this eight month old puppy. she was found dead in a black backpack. they say it appeared she had been strangled to death. a crime wave in one of son jose's upscale neighborhoods is forcing some to take matters into their own hands. several preem patrolling the streets looking for those who were terrorizing their community. people are coming forward with stories of how they have been

we are looking at a smooth drive here. it is on the other side of the bay moving smoothly. this is slowing for 880. both southbound coming off of 580 there. the issue is on the bay bridge itself. it is out of walnut creek. it is on the bridge itself. a disabled vehicle reported right here. we are going to track that and get more details, whoever gets there first. no major slowing has shown up just yet. a live look shows you the golden gate bridge. low clouds hovering around. keep that many mind. a smooth drive. we have seen a lot more volume. rch though we don't see a lot of problems there is a slow drive. same number of lanes.

grocery shopping carts. >> chris bagged this one pretty quickly. >> good morning. caramel was driving in a safeway parking lot when she felt a big bump. this is what happened. this is a photo that she took. you can see more of it right there. the store manager also noted that damage and took photos and filed a claim for her. a month later the insurance company denied it. caramel pushed back but didn't get any where so she contacted us. safeway offered to pay her repair bill which was $1,100 the next day. we asked safeway to explain what happened and they only said the insurance company contacted the customer to resolve her claim. if you're car is damaged in a parking lot make sure no one is

it was a sudden and violent storm at the time of the street collapse. one was trying to capture the storm as he caught it on video. >> he was hollering my god and i feel sick. there could be more casualties based on the disaster. here is a look at the bridge. it is a critical connection from milan to the french border. this is the bridge before it collapsed. it was built in the 1960s.

>> authorities have arrested the man but they say he is not cooperating. leaders give an update on ongoing jail reform efforts. they are launching the reform plan. the guards beat an inmate to death in his cell. some of the charges are taking place including a monitoring program and advisory committee. board members are expected to authorize funding for the new main jail along with a timetable for the bidding process. it is 6:34. considers a new partnership aimed at keeping kids safe. kids are giving the go ahead. >> good morning. it is also partnered with sandy hook's promise. it is a national nonprofit

started by some of the family members of the 20 children and six adults who were shot and killed at sandy hook in december of 2012. it is one of the worst school shootings in his rhode island it is to provide programs and practices to prevent other school campuses. this morning the office of education and a representative will present to the board of supervisors urging them to adopt this gun safety initiative which they are expected to agree to. sandy hook hopes to accomplish this here locally. they want to build a database. here locally they want to recruit and train so called promise leaders who can deliver to help prevent gun violence. they want to create mental health programs to help people

well. a massive bridge came toppling down. a bridge where you can see them trying to save some as well. the bridge is completely gone, collapsed. at least ten cars were involved. it collapsed during a very sudden and violent storm in the northern part. authorities don't know if anyone -- well, no, they do know at least now at least 22 reported kills so far in that bridge collapse. we also have new photos of a deadly bus crash. 23 people died here. we don't know if any u.s. citizens on on board. ve have been following a man crashing his car into the bay area. this is being called an act of terrorism. take a look at security camera video where the car is highlighted.
