internet. >> good morning anthony is accusing verizon while they were fighting the fire earlier this summer. the chief makes the allegation against the mobile phone company in a brief filed earlier this week in federal court in washington d.c. this is part of a larger legal effort to repeal the fcc's recent ban on net neutrality. it allows internet service providers to slow or block data speeds for financial or other reasons. it the down to the normal speed which made it impossible to communicate using apps like google docs. the fire department has unlimtd data verizon slowed the speeds.

now the chief has provided e-mails that show verizon offered to restore service if the department would agree to a $99 a month plan. that's three times the current plan. in a statement it made a mistake in this situation we should have lifted the speed restriction when our customer reached out to us. this was a customer report mistake. we will fix any issues going forward. v verizon added it has nothing due to legal proceedings in this case. today in the bay. >> all right. a lot going on with that. thank you.

happening today in oakland a man charged with stabbing two sisters at a bart platform is expected in court. she being charged with murder. investigators say he attacked and killed at the station last month. he is also charged with attempted murder. he was injured in the stabbing. san francisco one step closer to offering safe injection sites. it would allow facilities to use controlled substances. it is a new strategy. saying that she is committed to opening one in the city and headed to the governor's desk now. a follow up transit leaders have reportedly approved the first phase of the project. it is a bringing bus only lanes between market and tech bus
