layer for san francisco, but it does definitely showcase puffy clouds. here's a fice look right here. if you're driving through palo alto, you're going to notice the cloud cover, mostly cloudy. it's going to linger through 10:00 a.m. the temperatures will go up. you see the temperature trend changing as i'm speaking. about 1:00 p.m., 67 degrees and the clouds will burn off and welcome the sunshine. temperatures climb to the 70s. we're expecting warmer temperatures, but first, let's check in with mike. >> if you're just joining us, breaking news is in the south bay. it's really affecting the drive right now. unexpectedly jammed here, north 101 at 680. let me show you the reason why. overall, we have a lighter commute, but down in the south bay, we continue to have this big problem. it's a closure for northbound 680. traffic is forced off. you see how it jams up at capitol expressway. folks getting off can get off toward capitol avenue or king or what a lot of people are doing is sticking on 101. that's adding more congestion to

the traffic shot we showed you. that backup rippling throughout san jose, and i expect capitol expressway to feed over to 87. that will make it tough into downtown san jose. we'll watch it as it continues to show the backup there at the south bay. more on the breaking news and the situation, we'll hand it back to you. >> we have been talking about this since we went on air at 4:30 this morning. it's been a situation that's causing a lot of backup out there. >> it's right there on 680 and san jose where bob redell joins us live this morning. we know this man was shot on the freeway. we don't know why though? >> no, the driver of the car who was shot says he has no idea why. that's what he told chp as mike was mentioning. northbound 680 is still shut down here between capitol and berryessa. it's been going on for a lot longer than we expected. we expected this to be reopened by 5:00. here we are at alum rock and a

san jose police officer still has the on-ramp shut down. we have spoken with chp. they don't have an eto. it could be within the next 30 minutes. that's assuming officers don't find anything on the roadway. look at this video new into the newsroom where you can see officers walking about four or five across down across the lanes of 680. looking for bullet casings or other evidence. if they don't find anything, we expect the road to open soon. if they do find something, we expect the road to be closed for a much longer period of time. this is in connection with a shooting that took place around 3:00 this morning. take a look at this vehicle. this is a black honda accord. i counted five bullet holes in that vehicle. plus the front left tire which is shredded. according to chp, the man who was driving the vehicle and the woman passenger were driving north on 680 through san jose. someone in another car started shooting at them between mckie and berryessa. one bullet hit the driver in his back right shoulder.

he pulled off and went to a 7-11. where he waited for chp. he was able to show officers his wound before being taken to the hospital. again, as i mentioned, according to chp, he said he has no idea why someone was shooting at him. there are no suspects yet in the case who have been identified. reporting live in san jose, bob redell, today in the bay. >> thank you very much, bob. it's 6:03. we have been following the developments in a south bay school district. it's been quite the week. parents are upset after teacher protests, an arrest on campus, and also a gun found on a teacher. kris sanchez live in san jose with a look at what's been a rough week for evergreen. >> a very tough week, and in fact, a couple months, laura, and a lot of parents have contacted the nbc bay area newsroom saying they're frustrated and feeling like they're losing some sort of faith in their school district. now, this comes after just yesterday the arrest of 35-year-old language arts

teacher charles hosso who was arrested at the middle school. police say he was wanted in a february road rage incident that turned into a strong-arm robbery. san jose police did find the gun iphis satchel, and while the district says he passed a background check recently, some parents are wondering if their kids are at risk. >> the school in session for a week, i don't know how long he's been bringing it to school. he's been in the class where my son physically is sitting in the class. >> now, on top of that arrest, student athletes are now caught up in the labor fight between the district and its teachers. teachers are refusing to work extra hours until they have contracts, so many sports and after-school activities are canceled in the meantime. teachers have been protesting their lack of a contract since last april. since the last one expired. this is video from last april. the contract talks have been dragging on for more than a year. parents have been calling the newsroom to express their

frustration. they're wondering what they should do next. in san hojose, kris sanchez. >> concerning, a gun on campus. >> 6:04 right now. nowhere to be found. we're following a developing story on the peninsula this morning. search for a mother and her 10-year-old daughter from canada. audrey and emily rodriguez came to california to camp along the coast, but their whereabouts are unknown. family and friends are worried. the pair arrived at sfo on saturday, rented a car and checked into a hotel for the night. audrey sent her boyfriend a text on sunday but that's the last time anyone has heard from them. it's believed they were headed for the pigeon point hotel along the coast, but they never arrived. >> still the fact that there's been no communication from them or anything received, that's what's raising our suspicions. >> the mother had another reservation at a campground in

6:07, and here's a quick check of the daytime highs. san jose predicted high of 76, and we have a little cloud cover along the coast. we can't expect to warm up into the weekend. we're talking 80s and even some 90s on the map through labor day weekend. so i'm keeping a close eye on that. i will also post what you can expect for labor day on my account. we'll check in with mike. >> we're going to start with what looks like a comshot from the sky ranger over here. northbound 680 is completely closed. as they pan around, we're going to show the backup that's coming up toward capitol expressway. there you go. there's all the stream of lights. head lights northbound slammed us coming around the bend. you see folks flooding onto city streets. capitol expressway, capitol avenue both flooded as you travel to northbound 101. there's the closure. and sky ranger is showing you chp over there at capitol expressway. capitol avenue, king, and 101

north are all avenues where folks are trying to find a way around the full closure from the continued investigation of the overnight shooting. now we're seeing the ripple as we're hitting more impactful 101 and expecting more impact on 87 and 280 as folks try to find their way around the big backup. that will remain in place for a while. no updates from chp but i'm going to guess no earlier than 6:30, and that's the earliest that i expect anything to reopen. fortunately for the rest of the bay, that's the only thing going on as far as slowdowns. no problems for the tri-valley or east bay over to the bay bridge. at the bay bridge, you have the backup at the toll plaza, but that is expected. then it continues. it's not a red flag, but where you're seeing tail lights. >> coming up next here, the iconic bay area fruit stand open since the 1800s has just announced it's shutting down. >> plus, a staffing crisis in the sky. the push to find more airline

good morning and happy the capitol expressway closed. forced off the freeway for an investigation. it continues to bog down traffic and ripple throughout the south bay. we'll show you the alternates and what the results are. and good morning. happy thursday to you. the nasdaq, the s&p 500, both will open at new highs this morning. amazon hit a new record. you may recall laura and marcus were telling you about a new amazon video device. that news pushed shares of the south bay's roku much lower. the president still giving google a hard time.

>> well, i think that google and facebook and twitter, i think they treat conservatives and republicans very unfairly. >> yesterday, the president published a short video on his twitter account showing google promoting live coverage of president obama's state of the union but not his. google point out president trump's first address to congress in february 2017 wasn't a state of the union, and they did promote his state of the union address in 2018. >> now, the president says he looks forward to senate hearings next week where representatives from google and facebook and twitter will once again testify. keep in mind, the hearings aren't about whether silicon valley companies are censoring conservatives. they're supposed to be about what companies are doing to block russia and other countries from affecting our midterm election. but, by repeatedly attacking google, the president may be able to move that narrative away from russia and towards what he perceived as senscensorship.

>> a bill to require california companies to put women on their boards of directors has passed the state house and will go to the governor's desk. jerry brown has not indicated whether he'll sign it. california would become the first state to require women on boards. just taking a quick look, at some of the makeup of some of the more famous bay area companies, google has two women on its board of 11 seats. twitter has four women. apple, two women with just eight seats. and comcast is not technically a bay area company, based in philadelphia, but it's our parent company, so if we're going to talk about it, let's add it in. two women on a board of ten. should women be required is something that we have delved into on my sunday morning show "press here." in fact, we debated it a couple years ago. i tweeted out a link to that debate. you can hear the pros and cons from an expert. there are some scandinavian companies who do require this. this generally speaking would go against sort of the american idea of business, but it might be something that california

could try and we'll see if it would spread to other states. >> interesting to follow. >> diversity is always a good thing. >> well, new for you this morning, staffing crisis in the sky. a potential nationwide pilot shortage in the coming years. you know what that means. a huge effect on your upcoming travel plans. airlines are boosting salaries and benefits to attract new hires. industry experts say that crisis is coming. coming up on the "today" show, a flight instructor explains what makes it difficult for the up and coming pilots to enter the industry. also new, uber says it finds the idea of delivering food by drone compelling. uber eats is a big revenue source for the company. and a recent data suggests it's the fastest growing meal delivery service in the u.s. earlier this year, uber said it was looking to take part in a commercial drone test program in san diego. but that's been approved by the government. since then, it's been working closely with the faa and department of transportation and

has had several successful tests. >> new this morning, you might call it the last stand for a popular cherry stand, and dare we say, some fans consider this the pits. come the end of september, olson's berries in sunnyveil will be closing up shop. we were there in the annual cherry festival. four generations of olsons have owned olsons for more than 80 years. robert handa tweeted out a photo with the owner debra olson, she's among many saying she'll miss it. the owners hope fans stop by for what they hope is one last sweet hug. >> martha stewart talked about them years ago. and there was a flod of traffic. you know what. >> well, the land is valuable as well, but it is hard to see the change. yeah. shop local. always go to your farmer's market. for sure. >> great weekend ahead for the

farmer's market, especially because we're kind of starting to change in terms of where we're headed for september. i know we're ending up august on what seemed to be like a bit of a cloudy start, but hey, it seems like san francisco, not a bad view as the city starts to wake up. nice shot of the san francisco skyline there, and look at san jose, also looking good. 64 degrees right now. wind speeds at 5 miles per hour, if you're heading into the tri-valley, dublin, 62 degrees. and a combination of what looks to be an up and coming nice sunrise and cloud cover into the afternoon. i want to give you an update on your air quality index. this is the latest as of this morning, and yes, we're still seeing moderate air quality for areas along the north bay, which is where the yellow is, if you pair that up with air quality index just up above. if you notice, the majority is nice and green down through the south bay and san jose. what areas exactly are affected by this moderate air quality.

north bay, bay and coast, inland east bay. all dealing with moderate conditions down through the south bay and santa clara valley. we're good to go. again, you might still be seeing hazy skies with areas of smoke off to the north, but as we head to the weekend, we're expecting conditions to clear out nicely. as far as the microclimate highs for today, san jose, 79. milpitas, 80. down through morgan hill, 82. in through the east bay, take a look at antioch, 81 degrees. oakland, 69. along the peninsula, breezy conditions. san mateo at 72. and as you're head nothing to the city, mission, 68 degrees. and this is only going to get warmer into saturday and sunday. novato, 79. this is going to set us up for that ridge of high pressure that will welcome summer like temperatures yet again. we're not quite out of the woods. >> we're not out of the woods on this either. traffic wise, this is a horrible backup northbound 101. it's the result of a police investigation. bob redell is following that. approaching capitol expressway,

it's jammed because folks are forced off the freeway at capitol, funneling to that one exit, and then they have to hit city streets. we'll take you out to the maps and show you what it's like as well. if you travel north from the area, san jose heading up to tesla, a good landmark in fremont, folks are taking the side streets. it will take 45 minutes and maybe more as you slow drive through the area. it ripples over from 680 and now hits 101. the waze system, you can find another alternate. a lot of people are hitting the street, a surface street. if you stick to the freeways and jog over, it's ten minutes faster than what you thought might be a good option. not a great option right now. >> we're also, of course, show you the other maps we're showing in the traffic. capitol expressway to berryessa, you're fine heading through san jose. milpitas and in towards fremont. 101 is jammed up.

folks taking capitol expressway as an alternate, and now 87 from capitol to curtner shows a jam. 85 shows the volume increasing. some folks may choose to shift to 17. a lot of south bay freeways in commission, but expect that traffic right here to ripple over to this direction to the left. the rest of silicon valley not seeing a big backup. a lot of folks getting out of town, probably for labor day. thought we would have a light traffic flow. not the case for san jose, but the case for everywhere except for approaching the carquinez bridge. >> during your rart, bob redell tweeted out evidence has been found on 680 regarding that shooting, so we'll continue to follow that. they think, mike. also new this morning, controversy over reported new ifrts to strengthen protections for students accused of sexual assault on campus. >> plus, we'll introduce you to a bay area man who really likes to run. the inspiration that started his

we're looking at a chopper, seeing all these lanes reopening. at least two lanes are open, northbound 680. reopening at capitol expressway. we'll doyne to track this to see if it's all lanes or if they're only letting part of the freeway open but it should mean some movement for the south bay freeway. we'll show you the extended few and the ripple effect.

a major south bay freeway back open. live pict right now at 6:30, breaking news. a major south bay freeway back open. live pictures from nbc bay area sky ranger. northbound 680 shut down for hours after a man was shot in his car. we're at the scene gathering information, tracking the traffic impact as well. live team coverage coming up in just moments. >> first, want to say good thursday morning to you. thanks for joining us. i'm laura garcia. >> i'm marcus washington. let's head over to vianey in for kari hall. you said we have a warmup. >> believe it or not, we're running a couple degrees warmer. check out this cloud cover over walnut creek. the reason you can tell this is nice cloud cover is we have the sun peeking through the corner. let's take a look at just how much warmer we're running in some spots. the most noticeable is in napa at 11 degrees warmer. even down through the south bay,

six degrees warmer. if you notice the cloud cover, it's sticking to the mountaintops. a little disorganized. not really deep all the way in through hayward and concord like we have seen in the past. the marine layer not really existent at this hour which is why this shot of san francisco also looks so beautiful and clear. i'm not missing the fog yet, but you never know with carl the fog. you know how it goes, mike. how's the latest? >> we can show sky ranger over the scene, as laura and marcus still get the top of the show, this is northbound 680 recovering now. traffic is jammed up and suddenly starts to move. that's just like at a stop signal when the first car goes, it ripples back and folks start easing on the accelerator. much better spiacing about a quarter mile back. in san jose, northbound 680 reopening all lanes. jammed up right around capitol expri way and that ripples back to the 101, down past tully road

and to northbound 101 as well. it gets confusing. capitol expressway makes that bend and that's why it hits both freeways. because it's a lighter volume because a lot of folks are approaching labor day weekend, easing off their commute on thursday, so we will have a good opportunity to recover, but this is a big jam, 280, 680, 101 at the interchange. northbound 87 already showing a lighter flow of traffic. we'll track this for you, and bob, of course, following the news in the south bay because the rest of the bay not really a problem for the drive. good recovery in san jose on the freeway, but for more on the investigation, back to you. >> mike has been talking about it, we have been talking about it here. 680 northbound was shut down and a section has since been reopened. >> very concerning, after a man was shot while driving on the freeway. bob redell has been out there since about 4:15 this morning. before we went on the air. what's the latest now? >> well, good morning to you.

even though it's shut down on northbound 680 between capitol and berryessa was inconvenient for the morning commute, it was productive because chp officers were able to find evidence related to the shooting. take a look from sky ranger, as mike was alluding to earlier. you can see the backup is starting to clear up as the northbound 680 commute from san jose resumes here on this thursday morning. now, here's some video of the chp officers, about four or five of them about an hour ago, they were walking up and down northbound 680 looking for evidence. we have a photographer who is down there at the scene who spoke to an officer there who said they did find at least one bullet casing related to the shooting. again, it took place around 3:00 this morning. the shutdown lasted for just over two hours. northbound 680 reopening within the past 15 minutes or so. here's that vehicle that was shot at. this is taken at hofstetter, just off hofstetter at a 7-eleven there. a man driving this black honda accord, a two-door coupe with a

woman passenger. around 3:00, northbound 680 between mckie and berryessa. someone started shooting at his vehicle. i counted five bullet holes in the vehicle as well as the front left tire looks like it was blown out right to the rim. one bullet hit the man in his right shoulder. he pulled off at the 7-eleven, waiting for chp to arrive, standing, talking, conscious, able to show the officers his wounds before being taken to the hospital. i asked chp does he have any idea why he was being shot at. he said no, i don't have any idea why i was being shot at or who was shooting at me. right now, chp does not have any vehicle information as far as that suspect vehicle involved in shooting. reporting live here in san jose, bob redell, today in the bay. >> scary scene. hoping for a full recovery for that person. thank you so much, bon. >> all new for you this morning, historic tree came crashing down in pleasant hill. in the neighborhood there, leaving all of this behind. today in the bay's pete suratos live there this morning.

pete, we can see all that damage behind you, so how did all this happen, do they know? >> yeah, good morning to you, marcus. they don't know exactly how it happened, but you see here, this tree snapped at hardy circle in the pleasant hill area. that tree damaging not only this car but several other cars. that's where that tree is really causing a lot of headaches for folks in the area. as you mentioned, this is a historic tree. a 350-year-old heritage oak tree, so i want to point out this is what's considered a protected tree. they will need a tree removal permit from the city in order to take it down. so the city really dictates the terms on that one. the tree did snap roughly around 12:00 a.m., and the homeowner says it looks like about six to seven cars were damaged in all this. no injuries thankfully to folks outside when all this took place. here she is describing what she heard when the tree snapped earlier this morning. >> we were laying in bed. my husband was asleep. i heard a crash that sounded

like somebody hit a baseball bat. like a wood bat against a ball really hard. and then all of a sudden, boom. so there was note other thing, just a crack and a big boom. and i jumped up and said oh, my gosh, the tree fell. the tree fell. and my husband and i came out. and the tree fell. >> take you back out here live. you can see exactly where that tree snapped earlier this morning at 12:00 a.m. the big concern is there's still two other limbs she wants to get checked out by the city. she'll have to work with an arborist to get that issue cleared. clearly, you see the damage to the cars and a lot of people even on this side, people will have issues as they're dealing with this issue with the trees down on six to seven cars this morning. we're live at pleasant hill, pete suratos for today in the bay. >> not a way to wake up, but glad no one was heard. thank you, pete. >> gay rights groups are furious

with facebook. they accuse the social media giant of targeting homosexual users with conversion therapy ads. now, the telegraph in britain actually uncovered the story. lbgtq users were reportedly seeing ads that promote sexual purity and so-called gay cures. facebook told the telegraph the ads were mistakenly shown to users due to a flaw in one of its ad targeting algorithms. the ads since have been pulled. >> new for you this morning, an eye opener when it comes to your morning cup of coffee. >> infda is shooting down california's plan to add a risk warning to coffee. the plan sprang from a recent legal decision ruling coffee shops would have to warn customers. the top u.s. food regulator this morning said it's endorsing an exemption calling california's warning a misleading statement. okay, parents, listen up. how close do you want your kid to their professor? the mercury news is reporting uc

santa cruz is asking faculty to open their homes to students. the university guarantees two years of housing to incoming freshman. this year, it offered housing to more than 9,000 students. the school is trying to build thousands of new housing units. >> if you're a fan of the netflix siri "13 reasons why" you probably know one of the stars is sonoma county. >> many of those scenes shot on location including local high schools. tonight, starting at 9:00, traffic will be closed on the mair island causeway through the overnight hours. now, the controversial show about teen suicide is currently filming its third season. it should air at the start of next year. >> of course, they're doing it at night because in the morning, it's a place where things bot e bottleneck and slow down as they are this morning. over here, we're seeing a little recovery. north 101 still bogged down. north 680 recovering, it is

open. show you the map again. as we showed you from sky ranger, northbound 680 reopened all lanes a short time ago. an earlier police investigation of a shooting that happened overnight. recovery is able to occur in this area because a lighter flow of traffic all around the south bay. that's better news. minor crash on the shoulder around the area. overall, a smooth flow of traffic. i did want to call out the last report i did say was south 680 approaching the carquinez bridge. mixed then up. folks know that. it's west 80 approaching the carquinez bridge. that crash now on the shoulder. >> i get it, though, because 680 is on the mind. >> right there. >> all right. you know what's not far away? the weekend. >> always on my mind. >> right? >> something that you're going to want to plan to incorporate, outdoor activities, because of how great the weather is going to be. if you're stuck inside, open a window. coast, 66 degrees. inland, 85, and yes, we're

tracking that warmup to linger and kind of set us up for not just a nice warm labor day weekend but also a nice start to our new month which is september. coastal temperatures in the sunday forecast are going to be at about 68 degrees. some cloud cover, but if you notice inland, a lot of those clouds that have been lingering kind of all week long, we started off with a little bit of a fall-like feel. we'll clear out and then here come the 90s. we're talking about inland temperatures climbing into the 90 degree mark with some 70s for the bay. so if you're heading out to the beach, the weather is going to be absolutely fantastic. we're talking about temperatures in the 70s. i have a feeling that the beaches are going to be extremely cluttered. never turn your back to a wave. the rip currents right now looking not too bad, but again, if you get stuck in a rip current, remember to swim parallel to the sand. >> good advice. >> 6:40 right now. coming up next on today in the bay, the push to make one bay area city more beautiful. the artwork you're going to see popping up in an unlikely spot. >> plus, the brand-new

a live look at chabo it is 6:43. this is what it looks like right now using our weather underground cameras. we're tracking your temperatures as we head in towards friday. we have a couple changes ahead. and i know you want to know about that air quality, so i'll have an update on that coming up. >> love it. south bay freeways are starting to recover after 680 reopens. the north bay freeways are starting to show more slowing because more folks are hitting the roads. >> thanks so much. 6:44. live look at the middle school in san jose. that's where students are learning about the arrest of a teacher who police say brought a gun to campus. police yesterday arrested 35-year-old language arts teacher charles hoffa. theysy he's connected to a february road rage incident that turned into a strong-arm robbery. the teacher had a gun in a satchel. some parents wonder if their students were at risk.

>> the school has been in session for a week. i don't know how long he's been bringing to school. he's in the class when my son is sitting in clas. >> the district said he passed a background check. this adds to a tough week for the district which is involved in intense labor negotiations that may threaten athletics and other after-school activities. >> if you liver in the bay area and someone suggests a good burger, you're heal in-n-out. some folks are threatening to boycott. >> they donated $25,000 to the california gop this week. a journalist posted it yesterday. the company has donated to the state republican party in past years. but the sacramento bee reported back in 2014 the company also donated to a pac founded by a democrat. we'll have to see if anyone actually boycotts. i tweeted out a survey this morning. i was interested. will it change the way you eat.

it's 6:45 right now. >> the president, meanwhile, accusing tv networks and silicon valley of sensoring republicans. >> strong words from president trump. >> he says that cnn's ratings are bad but he used a word we don't generally like to use on television. he also says the head of nbc news will be fired and we have no information that is remotely true. the president attacking the networks and continuing his attack on google. claiming google did not promote his state of the union address the way the company did for president obama. google says it's not true, and google offered proof it isn't. there's confulgz this morning even at the highest levels of the military about whether or not the u.s. is going to conduct war games or military exercises with the south koreans. yesterday, the sectar of defense said there was no expectation we would cancel future exercises, but late last night, president trump tweeted in a long series of tweets, there is no reason to spend the money restarting those

exercises. >> north korea has largely disappointed the president and his advisers, after initially making vaguely -- some promises, vague promises to denuclearize. north korea has proven over and over it's not to be trusted. critics say the vague agreement the two leaders signed contributed to that problem. just a short time ago, the president said the russia investigation had nothing to do with his decision about white house counsel don mcgahn, which is an unusual denial because we weren't aware the president made that decision for mcgahn to leave. the white house previously said it was a mutual decision that had been long planned. he also tweeted mcgahn had nothing to do with his decision not to fire the attorney general. again, while this is something the press had reported that the president had wanted to fire jeff sessions, this is not something the white house had confirmed before until this morning's tweets. well, we examine these very important tweets and executive orders and speeches every day.

eventually some 70s and some 80s. right now, current temperatures in san jose, 64 degrees. into livermore, 62. out through oakland, 64. along the coastline, 64 degrees for san francisco. so the majority of this cloud cover is kind of sitting on top of the mountain areas. i want to show you that so you can see through santa cruz, and look at the temperatures. 11 degrees warmer in napa. 7 degrees warmer in concord. that's going to translate into our afternoon highs as well. as far as your air quality index, this is the latest. as of this morning, we're still dealing with moderate air conditions in the north bay, but all of the green you see here, even down through the south bay and san jose, that means you're good to go. the air quality has gotten a lot better. there are no spare the air alerts in effect but you may still catch haze in areas of smoke off to the north. south bay santa clara valley all good. we're expecting conditions to only get better as we head to friday, and yes, even saturday and sunday. the microclimate highs for today in san jose, 79 degrees. east san jose, 81.

and yes, we're going to be tracking a bit of a warmup, so this is only going to set us up for a warming trend. that's going to take on over into the weekend. and going to set us up for 90s over the next seven days and warm upper 60s. maybe even some 70s in san francisco. mike. >> all right. hey, folks, look behind me. we have a live look at the richmond-san rafael bridge. the hov lane seeing a backup. the cash lanes not, but we're seeing more traffic overall from the east bay into the north bay. north of that richmond bridge, we're looking over here to recovery approaching the carquinez bridge. westbound 80, a better flow of traffic as the crash at georgia cleared. it involved a motorcycle, but we didn't hear about major injuries. and we see mild slowing. slowing for hayward, both directions between 92 and a street. an earlier crash on the southbound side off to the shoulder. and recovery for the south bay in case you hadn't heard. 680 is reopened for all lanes northbound, 680 at capitol
