at least six people were shot and one of the victims has life threatening injuries. the gunfire erupted during an altercation between several individuals at the party. police have detained suspects inside the blocked off area. they say these individuals may be responsible for the shooting but so far no arrests have been made and investigators are interviewing them. >> a day at the races interrupted the next to the last day of the 2018 horse racing season. police say a man fired his gun near the delmar thoroughbred track. the sold out show was part of the summer concert ser rece. they returned fire hitting the suspect. according to officials that suspect was takenal hosp unknown. no reports of anyone else being hit. they verified that the situation

had been contained and that the concert would be moving forward. now to the latest on the desperate search for four people missing in the colorado river. after the boat they were on collided head on with another boat saturday night. the mohaje county sheriff's office suspended the search. in addition to the four missing, nine were injured, two of them critically. this collision occurred on the part of the colorado river near the border of california and arizona just north of the moajve regional part. one of the boats did not have its lights on, helicopters joined in the search. >> no lights on, no identification, nobody waiving anything like we're broken down and it was just, boom. > none of the 16 on according to the sheriff. crews will get back into the
