immigrant is pleading with politicians not to exploit his daughter's death for their own agenda. nbc's matt bradley has details. >> reporter: in iowa, a father in anguish pleads for empathy, writing in saturday's "des moines register," asking not to appropriate mollie's soul and advancing views she believed were profoundly racist. the act grievously extends the crime that stole mollie from her family." her body was found in a cornfield august 21st, about a month after she disappeared. a mexican living in america illegally was charged with her murder. of the litica debate. tibbetts' column was published one day after donald trump jr. wrote her murder never would have we policed the
