not much of one right now. the alert continues. chp says they should have the connector reopened by 6:15. right now the connector north 880 is closed because of an earlier big rig fire. if you're traveling through the area over the next few minutes you can get towards oakland road. it will take you towards 101. the speed sensors look like they are okay. watch for flares there. behind me no delay out of the pass. no back up period at the bay bridge right now. back to you. >> thank you. we are following breaking news in southern california. a shooting spree since we went on air at 4:30 this morning. at least ten people were shot in an apartment complex in san bernardino.

police say it happened a little before 11:00. one man says they were leaving the complex when a second round of gunfire sprayed his uncle's car. >> you get out of the area. they started shooting again. >> luckily no one was injured. three of the people who were shot are in extremely critical condition. we are working to bring you a live report coming up at 6:30. more violence ton bart system happening at an east bay station that has been prone to problems in recent weeks. >> we are live to tell us about the most recent incident. what is being done to combat this ongoing safety concern? >> yeah. good morning to you. yes, this is happening at the

out. last night the fire burned five acres. near by residents have been told to be ready to evacuate. we don't know what kind of plane crashed or how many people were on board. medical teams have not been able to access that area because of the fire laura is spending the day here. she tweeted this out shortly yesterday afternoon. it gives you a little perspective on where the fire is for the fifth time a bay area apple store is targeted by thieves. it happened around noon yesterday. the men dashed into the store ripping the devices from the table and taking off in a car

three are said to be hurt critically this morning. take a look at this video. police lead us a little bit closer to the apartment complex. several evidence mark rs there. this violence broke out overnight. it was the scene last night. police responding to a shots fired call. they were playing dice and gunfire was exchanged. it includes men and women. no weapons were found at the scene. people who live at the complex were almost caught up in the gunfire. we talked to a man whose family

saturday's 3.2 magnitude lake gave neighbors quite a jolt. >> that's because the made even a small quake can do big damage in a situation like that. >> the concern is that a much larger quake could cause the dam to fail and send a wave of water rushing down into fremont. they don't believe that last night's earthquake caused any damage to the old dam that was built in the 1920s for did they believe it damaged the new one. you can see it is being built right now. inspector did take a look at the dams last flignight.
