and that's the pleasant rain we va seen. better control of the fires burning up to the north. from north to south in the green for monday and likely to stay that way for tuesday. we will likely have the return of low clouds across the bay. interesting during the afternoon, northwest winds picking up and a drier air mass into the low clouds and more sunshine late in the day. the temperatures are not going to reflect that. over the next couple of days, temperatures will be cooling and approaching tuesday. morning temperatures in the 40s and 50s. highs tomorrow in the mid 70s again. closer to 80 temperatures where were. starting a downward trend. the winds pick up off the ocean. 63 degrees in oakland and peninsula temperatures, 68 in san mateo and low 70s for redwood city. mid 60s for san francisco. it will be interesting coming

that see every day as an opportunity to thrive your way. a hit and run driver who killed a man. the crash happened around 9:30 last n >> in santa rosa police are asking for help to find a hit-and-run driver who killed a man. it happened last night on stony point road in west santa rosa. several 911 calls came in about a driver who hit a man and drove off. first responders rushed to the scene, but the victim was already dead. they are hoping to find surve surveillance video. all they have now is a description of the car as a white compact sedan. >> getting hep help in a variety of ways program. they provide health care, clothing, legal services and more to struggling veterans. the name stand down is significant. >> it's a military term for getting out of the war zone and

into san jose, 63 after a high of 76. temperatures are holding steady for tomorrow and they may come down a little bit for tuesday before the roller coaster ride. from north to south, good air quality will stay that way until thursday. we might see levels of air quality in the week. low clouds and misty skies for san francisco. winds picking up out of the west northwest may help to clear out the coast by mid-afternoon tomorrow. the winds are coming in off that cool ocean. it will keep our temperatures down with members starting in the 40s to 50s. upper 40s p and hig tomorrow cl what we saw today. 76 downtown.

and mid- to upper 70s. the temperatures are staying relatively warm inland, but only 68 degrees around oakland. temperatures are similar in the mid 60s and north bay temperatures for monday climbing into the mid- to upper 70s. high pressure this weekend is over denver. the raiders game was near a record high temperature out in denver with numbers in the 90s. tuesday we have another system passing by to the north to keep the temperatures down. high pressure builds back across california just for 36 hours. that will be the warmest we see this week. the next weekend as fall gets started, look what happens approaching monday. there is a chance in the 10-day rainfall outlook through period of times of northern california. above average chances of finding rain. most of that will be mendocino
