meteorologist carrie hall tracking that rain. >> kari hall tracking that rain. >> as we get a look at storm ranger. that's our mobile doppler radar. we parked it on a mountain in san bruno. we are getting a detailed view from santa rosa, southward, marin county the yellows and the reds shows where it's pouring. in some farther of the north bay, we move into san francisco, it's been much lighter, starting to pick up south of the richmond district. then also into oakland as well the rain has taken a break, moving towards concord and antioch and down the ni east ba fremont, it's moving over towards the tri-valley, taking a break for much of the peninsula, we will see more rounds of rain moving through. i'll be tracking all of this.

towards the east bay. >> that may affect folks in hayward. the south offers it smoothly. no surprises for the peninsula as far as that traffic flow on our sensors. the weather data they translate it to slick conditions over here. highway 24 westbound has been a tough morning from walnut creek to the tunnel. we had a number of spinouts reported over the last couple hours, they're all clear from the highway, itself, the caldecot tunnel is okay. we have more rain, in san francisco, laura and mark have been telling you, they have that closure and fremont street. so that means an adjustment to the off-ramp and slicker conditions. be prepared. you've had a week getting off that bay bridge, back to you. >> nice for the rain, though, thanksmikeovernight, amazon is making pet finds, who benefits and when it starts.

moving up over parts of solano county. we have rain that's moving north of san ro money, 680, pretty wet as but down towards pleasanton and fremont. for the south county, we're seeing light rain a few sprinkles coming down around san marteen and gilroy. this is all a part of a larger system that will bring in more pockets of heavy rain, here is the center of low pressure. we will have more rounds of rain and the potential of thunderstorms, moving over parts of the central valley and is sierras as we get a look at that happening this starting in the a monte rio over an inch of rhyne rain. ukiah c ih and berkeley hills about a tenth of an inch of rain. it is pretty m will be high in

we are seeing the downpoursg rough. we've seen it off and on and then we are looking at some of the heavier rain moving through as you head out in the morning drive. storm ranger right now. it makes that commute really soggy, slows it down we're seeing heavy rain in san rafael, it's been spotty this morning and it's mostly cloudy, but the roads are wet, for the south bay, it's been late and we will have very light rain. the center of the storm is well to the west of us. offshore. we've seen enough energy over the central valley and southern sierra to produce lightning.
