morning with some mostly clear skies, cool temperatures and here is a live look outside if you have a flight out of sfo, no fog, isn't that a treat but you can see it lingering in the distance. as we get ready to start out, we are going to be watching that fog and see if it moves in to affect our air show and the fleet week activities for the weekend. as you step out right now, 56 degrees in san francisco, and oakland, and it's 55 right now in san jose. it's a cold morning in the north bay, and you'll feel the difference as you step out. you'll step outside and then go back in for a jacket, because it's 16 degrees cooler now and napa than it was yesterday morning at this time and as you head out for that morning commute in antioch you may turn on the heater for a little while inside the car but later on today let the windows open. it will be comfortable as our temperatures head to the low 70s by 1:00 and walking to school with the kids this morning, in san jose, it will be in the mid-50s so you will need some long sleeves and then as the kids head out for recess it will start to feel a lot more comfortable with some upper 60s

6:54 am
highway 4 is not seeing as much of a problem as we might see, the ripple still strong on a friday but more slowing toward bailey, another alternate for you. the bay bridge toll plaza the metering lights are on, but so far this is the lighter friday traffic. getting into san francisco, fleet week activity is right there and that will take you as far as the guidance goes past that trans bay transit center. fremont street is closed that, is a problem you have to route around the center but not quite so far as taking the golden gate park, that's strictly blue grass festival as well. the freeways are moving fine. not really affecting the freeways, it will affect downtown streets and over here we have the continued closure of most of your lanes, all of your lanes it's your service lane south 680 which is opened there. check quickly with waze, about an hour additional delay. you can save an hour if you cut through the city streets coming over from dublin to the area. sky ranger is overhead, a quick look we want to show you, they still have the rig overturned on its side. there we go, over here and that's what all the activity is, just that service lane south 680
