good morning. it is 7:44 and if you're up early joining us on this saturday morning, welcome. look at this beautiful shot the golden gate bridge with some fog. that's a pretty impressive sight. it tells the story of what we're used to seeing in the bay area. you can see the golden gate bridge is creeping on through and as far as temperatures go, in the 50s right now. waking up to about 55 degrees in san francisco, 52 down through morgan hill and up through napa a combination of some upper 50s and low 50s. now we still have high pressure holding on tight and as you very well know, high pressure brings us a nice combination typically of a warmup and mostly calm conditions for our weather
7:45 am
pattern. as far as your bay area skies, today we'll see a combination of some sun and clouds. we'll keep a little bit of that overcast look along the peninsula and for the coast. 70 for oakland and down through the south bay upper 70s about 78 degrees into san jose and this will be the last day of seeing some 80s for now, that is. we know that the microclimates are constantly changing but check out concord, high of 83 for today. those 80s will drop down to the upper 70s. this is because of a system that is just off to the north that's going to bring some chance of showers to certain parts of the bay area. but not necessarily rain, so who's going to see showers? you can see that system far off to the north. look how high up that is. that's great news for us because we're not tracking any rain heading in toward halloween, but sonoma county might still catch showers and along the coastline may see drizzle.
7:46 am
with this trough system, its going to bring a cool down and that's what's going to drop our temperatures ten degrees by tomorrow. let's talk about tomorrow's forecast. look at the temperatures. we're talking upper 70s, perfect football weather. so down through about 68 degrees at 6:00 in for washington state and of course if you're making strides against breast cancer, this kicks off at 8:30. we'll see those 60s right when it kicks off but comfortable weather for walking around. definitely going to need a nice light jacket, though. it might feel a little bit chilly if you're not used to temperatures below the 60s if you're a california girl just like me. let's talk about the next seven days. sunday will keep that chance of drizzle because of that system off to the north and then we'll notice a slight drop in temperatures but its not going to be as noticeable for san francisco. the more noticeable spots will be inland areas.
7:47 am
we'll go from a high of 83 tomorrow, 76 and we'll keep the 70s in through monday, but as we head in toward tuesday and wednesday, we've got an approaching system that will kick up our winds but also going to rise our temperatures right now just in time for halloween. >> i like that, thanks. it is 7:47. still ahead on "today in the bay." she's supposed to be planning her dream wedding, but the bank is making her life a living nightmare. the mistake that suddenly made this woman bankrupt even though she's never filed for bankruptcy. consumer investigator chris chmura finds out why.
