over the week, it's the same one. overall, a great sensor read all around the bay. we have our expected light green drive at the limit, except north 880 as you're approaching 23rd. so there's the coliseum there. past high street you'll be tapping the brakes. folks are slowing getting off the freeway and back on the freeway. it's a continuing project, it should be cleared in the next few minutes. scheduled until 5:00, but fridays tend to folks leave the scene early. there is a light drive on s hea morning not just the fans and players, 49ers cheerleader has a lot of people commenting by colin kaepernick. the cheerleader took a knee during the national anthem. it is believed to be a first for an nfl cheerleader. she's not been identified. the 49ers had no comment, though they have supported players' rights to kneel for the anthem. it is worth noting that

cheerleaders are run by an outside organization. alsoor those in the fans at levi stadium, things got dicey between fans at last night's final battle of the bay. santa clara pd, fbi as well as chp were part of the security detail. >> there was still bad behavior in the stands as the 49ers blew out the raiders on the field. "today in the bay' "today in the bay's" sergio quintana has more. >> reporter: fist fights in the stands as the game wound down. no word yet on the extent of injuries. santa clara police say there was at least one arrest for fighting, but there were a number of arrests for other reasons. >> it would be unreasonable to expect 70,000 people to get together and not to be a single rest. >> reporter: all evening, a police helicopter hovered overhead and uniformed officers from a few different agencies were all over the in an effort to keep the peace after scenes like this at past 49ers/raiders game. >> raiders! >> niners! >> reporter: at the start of this game, plenty of people came together to mark the end of the

at john's grill in san francisco, staff members put flowers on the table by mccovey's signed picture. if you've gotten stuck in roadwork on byron highway in:can cloud cover cou -- contra costa county you have to stretch it out for another week. contra costa county public works crews now say they'll have road maintenance done by next friday, november 9th, a bit later than expected. a live look at the golden gate bridge this morning, there is a warning for anyone headed to the iconic spot this weekend. on sunday the eastnd west sidewalks will be closed to pedestrians and bicycles because the golden gate half marathon will be happening. the temporary closure will start at 5:00 a.m. and last until 10:30 in the morning, when that race is over. the bridge will still, however, be open to drivers. what a run. still ahead here on "today in the bay," a possible arsonist on the loose, terrorizing a community. look at where these targets are

following a tweet by president trump that he'd had a productive discussion with china's president on trade issues. that's raising hopes the two countries will resolve their dispute and ease tariffs. the dow closed up 265 points yesterday. it has risen more than 900 points in the past three days. the nasdaq climbed 128 points. on today's watch list, the job market is in focus, as we get the monthly employment report, and it's expected to show hiring rebounded in october and wages grew, which could encourage the federal reserve to hike interest rates again in december. keep an eye on shares of apple today. the tech giant's latest earnings beat wall street's forecast as it managed to sell iphones at higher prices but apple sold fewer phones than expected and gave a cautious outlook on its holiday sales. apple stock fell as much as 7% briefly, knocking its market value below $1 trillion. uber is offering new rewards to its highest rated drivers, including free college tuition,

>> that's true. all right, this weather today, a nice warm one. isn't like fall at all. >> no, we're going to be close to setting some records this weekend. we're not supposed to be this warm. live look outside this morning, san francisco, maybe one of you guys can help me out which building this is, but it is gorgeous, as you start out this morning, all clear skies, and we are going to see those temperatures starting out in the mid-50s and as we head to conco concord, 53 degrees at 8:00 and warming up into the upper 70s today, mostly sunny skies, nice day to get outside. the seven-day forecast is already up at the bottom of the screen, as you head out the door in morgan hill, another typical cool start, as we will have some low 50s and then seeing the degrees and continuing t g quickly11:00. our south bay high temperatures today will reach into the mid gilroy today, and 82 in cupertino.

east bay highs looking at some mid 80s again. very much like yesterday, pittsburgh reaching 85, while degrees. we'll see some mid-70s in half moon bay today, and in daly city 72 degrees. now, these temperatures do not look typical for the early part of november, but we are looking at some more very warm weather, and some gusty winds. highs in the mid 80s in the north bay. as you're getting dressed this morning, you might need a light jacket, because we do still have those low 50s, but then under that a sleeveless shirt because it will heat up so fast today, and it's friday. if you can, make it a pool day. it's going to reach in parts of the bay area in the mid 80s today. so we are enjoying the warmth while we have it, but one thing that comes along with this very warm weather, a high fire danger. later on tonight, a red flag warning will go back into effect for our east bay and north bay hills, and all of these areas above 1,000 feet

gusts up to 60 miles per hour, as the humidity drops and those winds blow d ic the wind foreca stays mostly calm throughout the day and into tonight we start to see the northeasterly winds picking up, and in the north bay 20-mile-per-hour sustained winds and higher gusts. and our temperatures still reaching into the 80s, and we're getting ready to set our clocks back one hour early on sunday morning. it is going to be very dry, as we still deal with that high fire danger, and some upper 70s in the forecast for early next week, and for san francisco, low 70s there. by friday, today, we're up to 70 degrees in the city and a lot of 60s, morning temperatures in the lower 50s. mike, you were talking about some lanes opening for the nimitz? >> you know, i thought friday crews uly lea a little earlier but we're looking overall, the bay looks great. that's the good news. the closure continues though, for the nimitz, northbound 880

approaching 29th, 23rd. the overcrossing there, they're working on the work, removing the construction project, we see going from red to rngorange, th back up removing cones through the area, i'll say that's what's going on because it's right about the right time early on a friday commute. northbound 808 worst off and on the freeway at 23rd. toward the bay bridge an easy drive. quick look outside, looking at travel times, no problems for the areas. the closure adds a lot of time on our sensors right now. it's not actually 35 minutes. it's a little better than that, and continues to improve from the dumbarton bridge all the way, sorry, 238 all the way through san leandro and the bay bridge, where there's no backup at the toll plaza. golden gate bridge moves smoothly. laura and marcus, you talked about the run on sunday, that will not close lanes for traffic but it will be a big distraction as the runners will be on the sidewalk so prepare for that sunday morning. >> at least until 10:30.

and welcome back. taking a live look outside, this is fremont here, as we get started with this friday morning, dark and early for you. 4:54 right now. for the latest in the series of fires in marin headlands, it has investigators believing there may be an arsonist at work. >> wednesday night's fire destroyed the historic ft. berry rifle range building. park police officer saw someone leave that building shortly before it erupted in flames. the fire had people nearby ready to evacuate. >> seeing it so close made me think about getting the kids, getting the dog, and what can you grab, and get in your car. >> this is the fourth time in two months firefighters have responded to fires inside the national park. in september, a fire burned across the hillside after starting in a nearby bunker. last weekend, they put out a small grass fire. and moms, this story will
