5:16 am
a thing. >> well, it stood out. thanks a lot. we stand out all the time, you've probably seen the scooters on the street, more lime scooters recalled though, and this time for faulty baseboards. few weeks ago, the company removed scooters at risk of battery fires. now the verge reported a new recall was issued, this time after reports show the board could crack or break. there is no word yet on exactly how many scooters are affected. i'd be insulted if it broke when i was on it. >> hey! >> time for me to diet. samsung unveiling a foldable phone, not a flip phone but foldable phone. it showed up the infinity flex display, during the developer's conference last week in san francisco. if you're interested in buying one of these you might want to save up. according to the verge, the phone is expected to cost more than $1,700. >> what? >> for a phone, but it's a foldable one. it will be called the galaxy f,

5:18 am
in red, for our area it's lake and mendocino county that continues to see the high fire danger and it's going to continue until about 7:00. our winds are starting to calm down but it's been gusty out there. the humidity remains low. we look at our humidity and winds today, it's still going to be at times still those drifts of smoke and we're going to see some shifts in the wind. the red shows where humidity levels are below 15%. we are still going to see much lower humidity farther off towards the north, and then we'll see it moving in once again for tonight with some very low humidity, and at times, the wind shifting directions, so that may change how much smoke you see at any point throughout the day. we're feeling some very cold air right now, and it's all because the humidity is so low. it's in the mid to upper 30s, as you head out the door in parts of the north bay. so as we step out in concord, we're also looking at some upper 30s, as you leave around 7:00, and then warming up into the
5:19 am
mid-60s by noon. our high temperatures stay in the 60s today for much of the bay area. san jose will reach about 71 and 73 in morgan hill. going throughout the forecast, still some warm temperatures for this time of year, and offshore wind flow, but then as we go toward the weekend, we can see the winds will be coming up from the south, so that may help improve our air quality, as we go into the weekend, and then next week it looks like there could be a chance of rain, as we see a change in that pattern getting closer to thanksgiving, and it looks like finally we could see some changes here, but it still will be hazy, and warm, over the next few days, with some breezy winds, upper 60s to low 70s inland, and san francisco staying in the mid-60s. heading over to mike, you're hearing about a traffic break. >> i might have heard it a little too late. it may be completed but i've been tracking in san leandro into hiayward. the south bay no problems, an easy drive along the peninsula. speed sensors are green.
5:20 am
over here, just a little bit of slowing at 580 and 205 blend together. no problem when you get to north flynn. southbound 880 i heard about a traffic break to clear the remaining vehicle from the roadway. i've been watching for the last ten minutes and haven't seen any slowing and i think it's completely cleared at this point. we'll track that, but so far, no other problems getting out of oakland down in toward hayward but getting through oakland, we have that construction crew south 880 at 23rd. you may be rerouted off for another few minutes as they move the last of the equipment. i've heard about no problems for that overnight construction going on, off and on the freeway and onto the bridge over here at the oakland side, the cash lanes clearing up on the left approach. on the right approach the backup for the cash lanes, one left to open for this morning and the build is starting coming in toward the area where we typically see metering lights any second but maybe not for later today, being a day off for some businesses. back to you. >> that's right, veterans day. thanks so much. coming up, getting closer to the u.s./mexico border.
