weather. >> we are keeping a close eye with a big storm system moving in to california. heavy rain and also mountain snow. the rain extends down through l.a. and san diego. so we will see this continue to move inland with a lot of assoc it, winter storm warnings in pink, along the coast flash flood watches. so it will be wet and very windy with gusts up near about 30 to 40 miles per hour possible. that flooding rain continues all through the weekend and then the snow continues to push into the rockies as we go into monday and tuesday. so we are looking for as much as about 4 to 5 inches of rainfall and this could lead to mudslides especially in the burn scar areas. and we're also looking for a significant amount of snowfall as well especially in the highest elevations back through the sierra mountain range. we cnortha
