how cold those temperatures will be today, only reaching near 50 degrees. we'll talk about what else is ahead, coming up, and mike, you have a flooding and closures. >> that's right, reports of flooding of course are usually in the outside lanes because the crest in the roadway in the middle sort of being the middle lanes here, the slow lanes or the fast lanes are the ones likely to flood. we're tracking those. the major issues are not necessarily the standing water, although kari showed you right there, the tri-valley where the activity is right now, we pull it away and the green highlighting means it will be slick wherever you're going. the red section there as well as highway 35, part of skyline is closed but here is where we're concerned with niles canyon between 680 and mission boulevard. that's closed because of mud. i'm tracking the effect on the "a" street but you have more about this portion and the mudslide. >> the breaking news for you, a busy hot spot of traffic in the east bay closed right now. a mudslide closing both directions of niles canyon road. >> just what mike was talking about.
