mississippi, a tornado killed a 41-year-old woman and left a path of destruction. the twister smashed into a commercial district causing extensive damage to a church and multiple businesses. in the north snowy conditions led to a massive pileup involving over 100 vehicles that shut down parts of interst in wisconsin. officials confirm that one person was killed and 71 people were hurt in the collision. for more let's go to nbc's bill karins for our forecast. good morning. >> good monday morning. active weekend for nasty weather across the country from this big storm. the last impacts of it are going to be the high winds today in the northeast. flights will be delayed significantly, maybe even cancelations. 80 million people are at risk everywhere in the purple under high wind warnings. reason it's windy is the big storm that went through the plains with the blizzard conditions on saturday and yesterday through the great lakes with high winds is moving through areas of southern quebec and toward nova scotia at the same time high pressure is building in. those equal lines of pressure,
