to drive across the country and view. on friday, long was stopped by police in iowa,er minor crash. he told officers he was driving to google, but didn't mention the threat. officers let mountain view police know, but then on sunday, they got another call. >> police department in maine had actually received information that not only was kyle in california, but that he had said that if things didn't go his way at google he was potentially going to harm some people, so that put us on heightened alert. >> reporter: police stationed officers on highways and spotted long's truck on 101 about a mile from the google plex. they arrested him and found three baseball bats in his truck. >> there's a lot of what ifs here, what could have happened. that's scariest part for a lot of people. if this happened, what would have happened? >> less than a year after a woman fired multiple shots, injuring three people before

here are today's top business headlines. wall street looks to open flat this morning, after a big rally yesterday. the dow jumping 200 points as big gains in tech stocks such as apple and facebook helped to offset a big decline in shares of boeing. the dow, nasdaq and s&p 500 break a five-day losing streak. on today's watch we'll be looking for a report on consumer prices. at&t is raising prices for its directv now streaming service, you see customers pay an extra ten bucks a month but get an hbo subscription in return. at&t is overhauling its current packages, replacing them with two new options. directv plus will offer 40 channels for $50 a month and directv max will have more than 50 channels for $70 a month. the change will take effect april 12th. apple has sent out invitations to an event on march 25th at its headquarters where it's expected to launch a tv

>> we have a cold front this morning, here is a look at temperatures as you get ready to head out the door. they're all over the place. we have upper 30s in napa, it's 47 in antioch and it's 50 in san francisco, so quite a difference driving from napa into the city this morning, and you do still need a jacket, no matter where you are, especially if you're waiting at the platform at the fruitvale b.a.r.t. station, 45 degrees. we will slowly warm things up throughout the day, some upper 50s by noon, and as we take a live look outside in san jose, it does start out with some clear skies. as you're getting dressed it's another day for a jacket and maybe even some pants but also light short sleeves because it will be warming up as we go into this afternoon. our high temperature also reach into the low 60s, and it will feel nice, with all of that sunshine, but we will see more clouds mix in as this cold front approaches, and we can see the rain that's entering the far northwestern corner of the state and it's also bringing in some

light rain, and then there's also some rain across southern california, we'reiche in between, but we are going to see the clouds starting to increase, going into about 11:00 to 12:00, slight chance of rain for lake and mendocino counties and also mostly cloudy skies for the rest of the bay area, but there will be at times the sun peeking through and it's just not going to be as clear and sunny as it was yesterday, but we're not expecting a lot of rain out of this as well. but it will be windy going into today, as this cold front kind of drops through, and it also brings in a little bit of a change. our winds picking up, going into late morning into the afternoon. we can see nheth and northwest about 15 to 20 miles per hour, and it continues to increase, going into the afternoon as well as this evening. goi to be strongean francisco some of our hills will have some gusty winds. so we're just watching out for that. that's really the only concern we have here. over the next seven days, with
