so this morning as we get ready to head out the door, we're going to be tracking a few isolated showers. most of the bay area starting off dry. a live look at san francisco. temperatures in the mid-50s or lower 50s in the tri-valley. 56 in san jose. highs in the upper 60s. weftd 70s the past fwe have had past few days. a couple of spotty showers moving in. taking a live look at san jose. it's going to be windy today. but our skies will be clearing. the sun glasses and hat that won't blow away. overall showing a clear picture. as we head down to the south bay, we have had a few isolated showers moving through right there along highway 101 leading into south san jose. this is pretty much all the

activity going across the bay area this morning. so it is wet as you are on 101 approaching 680, alum rock area. looking at the wider view of the satellite imagery showing we have a lot of dry air the next couple of days that will stay with us. the next storm coming in will be here towards the end of the week today. any lingering showers will be moving out. going into tomorrow, as well as thursday. we'll start to see more clouds moving in as the next system through fairly quickly. a slight chance of rain from things clear out on chances wi slight. rain in the forecast for thursday. on friday, up to 67 degrees. check out the weekend. up to 72 degrees on saturday. sunday, upper 60s. autism speaks walk for the bay area will be happening in san jose.

nbc pwaeup area responds to a menlo bay woman to hit a roadblock at the dmv. good morning. she has been unable to renew her driver's license and get a straight answer as to why. she says she was issued several temporary licenses but not a permanent one. and even with an entire day spent at the dmv office, still no explanation. we took her case to dmv headquarters in sacramento. a spokesperson determined there's been a snag cross-references the information with the federal database. that's now worked out and she was just sent a permanent driver's license. speaking of visits to the dmv, most of us will need to pay a visit sometime in the in ex y n and a half for a real i.d. with
