and she falls and gets swept under the open door. >> the truck rolled over my left leg and pinned me down and stopped from that moment, i yelled help. >> reporter: a woman runs to help. >> this lady came running and when she approached my truck, she said what did i want her to do. she got the truck off of me. >> reporter: her injuries could have been worse. she and her daughter have a message for the lady with the purse. >> she responded in an instant. she didn't even think about it. and for that, i'm grateful. >> my mom is, i love her to death, and i don't know what i would do without her.

>> sergio quintana nbc news. >> looks like a hurricane outside the window. it is a fire hydrant. near fifth and brandon. a car crashed into that hydrant. the san francisco firefighter get flooding to a minimum and no one hurt. now to another messy scene in san francisco. a hit and run sent a car crashing into a house. may have been a result of a chase. one of the cars hit a moving car and collided with two parked cars. one man told us the crash happened after he chased away the suspects trying to break into his car. >> they took everything i had and they started running. i chased them. and i was on the phone with 911.

>> a lot of crashing. and no one hurt. police have detained several people who ran from the scene. more problems for the richmond san rafael bridge. pieces of concrete fell on the lower deck. a piece of concrete cracked a driver's windshield. fortunately that driver was not hurt. still there are now calls to replace the entire bridge after those recent incidents. another democratic contender. eric swalwell holding a rally in dublin. former alameda county prosecutor announcing his bid monday night.

trek down further south. and then it is going to quickly move through as far as rainfall totals anywhere from .25 to .5 of an inch. for the most part, things should clear out nicely by tuesday afternoon. tomorrow, temperatures still in the 70s. low 70s to upper 60s for the most part. as that system approaches we will feel the cool down. down to the south bay low 70s. i mentioned that system is going to move in on monday into tuesday and that is where we are expecting that light rain push through but looking ahead into wednesday and thursday. we see high pressure system and that is going to move in and warm us up quite a lot into thursday and that brings our first couple of days of seeing
