extinguished, 12 hours after the landmark church first started burning. we're getting our first look of what is left inside the church. perhaps a shred of good news. a large part of the artwork and relics, including the crown of thorns. >> it's clear it heavily damaged the 800-year-old church. the signature twin church bell towers were saved. and the only injury reported so far is that of a firefighter. though, there's no update on their condition. the church was undergoing a $6 million renovation. while it is still too early to pinpoint the cause,ers e at lea that way. and nearly $350 million has already been pledged to help rebuild the cathedral. notre dame holds a place in

as you're getting dressed and you're ready to head out the door, maybe a hat pause it is so humid outside. not only do we have light rain but we have some fog and light long sleeves for the rest of the day. our temperatures will be a little bit cooler than we have had recently. still comfortable in the south bay. reaching 65 in cupertino. 64, milpitas. east bay, 64 in vallejo and livermore. redwood citymid-60s. mission district 61 degrees. and in santa rosa, expect a high of 67. if you're heading out to the a's game tonight, right at about evening hours, temperatures coming back down. reaching into the mid-60s. as we get a look at what's happening still out there as we track it with storm ranger, we can still see rain. a lot of it low and mixed in with fog. as you make it through the tri-valley and the south bay, expect it to still be misting. now it is snowing in the sierra.

so that will be going on for a few more hours. we are looking at several more inches of snow for some of our elevations above 6,000 feet. we will be clearing out. still lingering clouds throughout the morning, into the afternoon. ietemperatures will be warming up. as we look at how our temperatures change today. 65. tomorrow 75. res every day. then it becomes a little bit more breezy. a stronger ocean breeze on friday. it keeps the temperatures a little bit cooler and comfortable going into the weekend. mike, still those slick roads may be the main issue. >> that's right, kari. i will start with the same shot you started with, the san jose camera. you can see water on the lens and rain kicking up on the roadway. traction on the road is an issue. be careful.
