logistical issues. attorney general william barr is is scheduled to testify before a house committee this week, but now he's in a standoff over the terms of the hearing. tracie potts has the latest from washington. we're talking about conditions of the questioning here. whether it's open or closed sessions. >> exactly. democrats are saying that they want to be able to go into executive session to ask questions about the information that was blacked out over redacted from the mueller report. they want to extend the questions to 30 minutes per lawmaker instead of the 5 that's normal and bring in lawyers and allow the attorneys to ask gu s questions as well. republicans say that this is thot the way that this should proceed. they call it abusive and illogical. the justice department says he's agreed to answer questions from lawmakers and still willing to do that, but an aid has reportedly told them they may be a no show if they insist on

these conditions. what happens it if he's a no-show or threatening to be, the chair of the committee says he may issue a subpoena for attorney general william barr and will do whatever is necessary to enforce it. that hearing is supposed to happen thursday. stay tuned. >> we'll be watching. tracie potts thank you. pope francis is pitching in to help with the migrant crisis at the southern border. he's donating $500,000 to help mite stranded in mexico. the donations were distributed because aid towards the migrant crisis had been decreasing. the funds will be distributed to 27 local projects and 16 mexican diocese that provide food, lodging ask base necessities. two days after a construction crane came crash ing down killed four people, there's a new view of the accident. our seattle affiliate has dash cam video show iing the crane

traffic. two crane operators and two other people were dead by the time firefighters arrived. what's left of the crane is being removed from the building. and investigators now locking at what roll the weather played with powerful wind gusts passing through the area at the time. google says we are in community communicating with vul can and working with local authorities. they say our thinks go tout to the family who is lost loved ones. seattle is going through a tech bhilding boom. there's more cranes here than anywhere else in america. there were at least 60 across the city. police in baltimore are asking for the public's help tracking down a gunman who opened fire during two cookouts. one person was killed and seven others injured. the cookouts were happening on opposite sides of the west baltimore street when a man shot into the crowd. detectives are also trying to investigate if a second person fired back after finding two shell casings on the scene. the identities and conditions of

the victims are unknown. police believe the shooter may have been targeting someone in the crowd. a 25-year-old has been arrested in connection with a several bodies found in a tennessee home. police are lock iing for a possible motive. here's dan shenman. >> reporter: police responded to a 911 call saturday at a home in west moreland, tennessee. they now discovered six people dead. one more injured. another body was discovered at another location. saturday night investigators launched a manhunt. >> the prior at this moment is in locating a person of interest who we believe may be armed ask may be very dangerous. >> reporter: later michael couplewas found in a are row mote area.
