of americans many communities are facing an upgraded forecast of high risk of severe weather today after more than 50 tornadoes have reportedly touched down. tornado alley is living up to its nickname with violent storms ripping through nebraska and kansas spawning dozens of twisters there. many of them caught on camera. for an even closer look we go to nbc's tammy lightener. >> tornado >> reporter: a rare look inside a tornado with winds up to 135 miles an hour. it hit friday night in nebraska. accuweather storm chaser tim got caught in the middle >> it formed so quickly, i was actually on foot outside of the armoured vehicles. >> reporter: remarkably, no one injured. >> whoa, whoa, whoa. >> reporter: but the ferocious winds pushed this semi off the highway. dozens of violent tw across then in giranamo, oklahoma.

today. >> reporter: police released a photo of the student who brought this shot gun to school friday >> an active shooter at park rose high school >> reporter: he never opened fire and no one was hurt >> he walked into the classroom with a shotgun said he was struggling with a truant officer >> reporter: the attack thwarted "o" when keenan lowe tackled the 18-year-old suspect. lowe also a former star wide receiver for the university of oregon says he lunged for the student, wrestled the gun away, handing it off to another teacher. >> in that moment i was called upon and i just reacted. and like i said, instincts kicked in. >> reporter: lowe tweeted i would no idea i would have to put my life on the line likey f. adding, i'm blessed to be alive and extremely happy that the students are safe. >> reporter: the school's junior/senior prom went on as

448-page report. in a 13-tweet thread, the michigan lawmaker argued special counsel robert mueller's report into russian interference documented impeachable conduct by the president and accused attorney general william barr of having deliberately misrepresented the report when he summarized it in march. contrary to barr's portrayal, mueller's report reveals the president engaged in specific actions and a pattern of behavior that meet the threshold for impeachment, the congressman wrote. he even accused his fellow republicans of not having read the report he is a member of the freedom caucus, a right leaning group who typically backs trump. but he always blazed his own trail, frequently criticizing the president and fellow republicans. mitt romney said he reached a different conclusion than he did on impeachment >> r case for obstruction of justice, you just don't have the elements that are evidenced in this document. >> reporter: but he still standing apart from his party. y

reporting. >> a girl who police say was snatched while on a walk with her mother in fort worth, texas, has been found and is now safe police say a suspect is also in custody. and two local good samaritans helped find the girl and the suspect. nbc's dan scheneman has the story. >> reporter: saturday night, police say 8-year-old salem sabadka was snatched while working with her mother. a neighbor's doorbell camera captured her as she was thrown from the car a little girl and suspect were found by police at a suburban fort worth, hotel. >> he breached the door of that hotel room and found that male located inside >> reporter: police were helped by two community members who went out on their own and found the vehicle that matched the description of the suspect and then called police >> i wasn't sure i mean, if i thought i wasn't going to find her ob >> reporter: 51-year-old michael webb is in custody and charged with kidnapping. >> it happened three blocks from my house, and it's scary to

think that something like that could happen to your kids. >> reporter: hours after the little girl was found, neighbors marched through fort worth, a sign of support and strength dan scheneman, nbc news. >> a plane plummeted into the ocean off of the coast of honduras leaving five tourists dead including four americans. the single engine plane went down near roten, island, a popular vacation destination rescue boats found thosecrash. officials say the four americans appeared to have died on impact. the canadian pilot was taken to the hospital and died of internal injuries. they have not released their identities and authorities are now investigating the cause of the crash. >> a at least 17 people were injured as the bus was traveling near the grand egyptian museum next to the giza pyramids. the road side bomb caused the blast and windows of the bus to

moderate small towns in between there we're most concerned with the chance of dealing with not just tornadoes, but even strong or nad oesz that includes childress, texas, guthrie, and elk city, too storms will head towards wichita falls, oklahoma city later this evening. this is the way our computers are looking at this. storms are devin today. inorth texas into oklahoma. that's by noon today then round two develops on the tail of this and we'll watch those storms about 4:00 p.m. that's when we'll have our chance of getting those tornadoes and the possibility of those long tractor nad owes. i know a lot of schools in this area already canceled for the day today. they don't want those kids anywhere near the severeareas oy down through oklahoma and north
