the injuries were bad. ruptured achilles. the mood here is very low. >> the weather that we have, that is something to smile about. >> it is going to be a nice day. a lot of sunshine. also, we're keeping the cooler temperatures. we start out with clouds and the mist and drizzle near the coast. walnut creek, our temperatures will be going up as we go throughout the day. 11:00, upper 60s. eventually reaching the upper 70s for the south bay. a few spots in the 80s. we'll talk about the weekend forecast. a big concern here on northbound 101. speeds going the opposite direction southbound on the northbound side reported a lot yorba buena. a car reported going the wrong way toward the 85 merge. it's good news.

witnesses tell us it is raptors president. we have this video just moments after they won the title. alameda county sheriff's department tells us he pushed a deputy, hit a deputy in the face after the deputy wouldn't let him on the court. he is credited with building the raptors championship squad. we are still waiting to hear from the nba about all of this. the executive is not in custody. but the officers do plan to hand the case over to the d.a. he finally got onto the court. he conducted interviews on the trophy stage. last night's game was the hottest ticket of the year. jesse jackson, barry bonds in the stands. uniquely oakland. too short, e 40 among the local rappers that said good-bye toooa stadium that has been part of their lives for so long. >> they battled hard.

nike slogan might be just do it. but on new women's sneakers say it is sending the wrong message what what they should be doing. people are saying the shoe looks like an iron. it is facing backlash online including one testimony admit group who says nike is sending the wrong message here. two famous me maim british athletes are promoting the sneaker. nike has not commented on the backlash. >> i'll tell you what, hey, that iron -- my iron looks like a shoe.

>> people will find anything to complain about, especially this weather. it started out hot, but now it is cooling off. fog is back. that is a look at the bay bridge looking the way it should this time of year. and our temperatures also looking a little more normal. in the mid-50s. we have a few low 60s here and there. overall, very weather throughout the day. in brentwood, you're going through the morning drive, maybe even needing to turn on the heater for a couple of minutes. it is in the low 60s. low 70s by 11:00. as we look at our south bay high temperatures for today, we're in the upper 70s, low 80s. up to 80 today in morgan hill. for the east bay, looking at only lower 80s. it's going to be really nice. a breeze kicking up at 15 to 20 miles per hour for the coast and parts of the peninsula.

in the 60s and 70s today. san francisco, mostly staying in the 60s. in the north bay, 70s and 80s. warm in ukiah. the rest of the north bay reaching into the 70s. as we get a look out the window, grab a jacket for the early hours. where it feels cool, we have mist and drizzle. the rest of the day, short sleeves will be comfortable. and the brisk wind coming in from our ocean breeze. it is going to be breezy. temperatures drop even a little bit more. we're reaching 80 degrees tomorrow in our warmer spots inland. father's day slightly warmer but still very nice. and heating up next week. enjoy the break while it lasts. you have good news for altamonte pass commuters? >> yesterday there was no ace train service because of a gas leak that wasn't a gas leak but it was.

and then it got fixed. whatever the case, this morning ace train is operating normal. it is good news for folks traveling to the altamonte. it will reduce the number of cars. some folks had to take 580 out of tracy. a little bit of traffic. wasn't much for the morning commute. this morning looking light slowing out of the area. again, ace train is back in service. up toward contra costa, highway 4, easy drive-through through walnut creek. upper east shore and the maze. backup for the cash lanes just started. we'll track it. back to you. >> thanks. we'll keep an eye on it. in a few hours, powerful women in politics set to descend on san francisco. valerie jarrett among the many expected to speak at the "be invincible" women's summit. the goal of the event is to inspire women to activate their
