we've got it headed our way.day. a few clouds, a live look in walnut creek and it's in the low 60s now. we'll hold steady for the next few hours and then start to see our temperatures warming up, as we go into the rest of the morning. our high temperatures just a few degrees above yesterday but still a little bit cooler than normal, reaching 76 in san jose, 81 in concord and today in santa rosa reaching 83 degrees. we'll look at all of our microclimates coming up. mike, you have one note for hayward. >> really the only incident we're tracking, 880 southbound at whipple, a disabled big rig, happened about an hour on scene. it only affects folks using the off-ramp at whipple at the bo altamont and in toward livermore. no problem, pittsburg, bay point, walnut creek interchange or coming out of the north bay. thelks waiting for cash payments.

a driver is under arrest and a popular east bay restaurant has a lot of cleanup ahead of itself, this is before it can reopen, after a truck plowed into a sweet tomatoes restaurant. this happened about two hours ago in crescent plaza downtown pleasant hills shopping center. officers say they arrived to find the driver still in the cab of the truck. there's video showing him taking a field sobriety test. he's now charged with driving under the influence. the restaurant was empty at the time of the crash but this is a busy area with a lot of shopping nearby. bob redell is there and will have a live report coming up at 5:00. and more fireworks during last night's second round of dramatic debate in miami. meith bay area's riseading the charge. >> following toom where most candidates continued to try and shape the conversation. good morning. i'm rahel some monthly at cnbc headquarters. here are today's top business headlines. wall street is set to open higher this morning. it was a mixed day for stocks yesterday, the dow posting its first three-day losing streak since march. the dow, nasdaq, and s&p 500 are on track for their best month since january, the dow having its best june since 1938. on today's watch list, consumer income and sentiment. boeing is expected to stay

grounded longer. officials saying it will take until september to fix a new software flaw discovered in simulator tests last week. this means the plane isn't likely to resume flying until october because the faa has to look at the fix. southwest needs a month after the faa signs off before it can resume flights. the man responsible for every renovation is stepping down as chief design officeribeoined apple in 1992 as considered one of the most important people at the company. he's had a hand in the design and feel of the ipod, the iphone, the ipad and the mac and also overseen apple's ios software. marcus and anoushah? >> big guy with a big job. >> he's still with apple so we'll still get our products. look, i don't know. >> hopefully. >> he seems happy, apple seems

4:45 on this friday morning. good morning and thanks for waking up early with us. here is a live look for you at downtown san jose. look at all those sparkly bright lights, hoping for another good day. new this morning, oakland museum showing the queer california untold stories. right now it's new artwork from the lgbtq community. among the displprototype of the original eight-color rainbow flag and power images. >> the photographs of people's faces of those moments in san francisco where people were on the streets advocating for the right to be themselves in the world, the time line at the back of this exhibition is an eye opener. >> the exhibition runs through august 11th. it was nice to go to a museum but this weekend, you can spend more time outside. >> it's a nice weekend and we're celebrating pride also in san francisco we've got a lot of

events going on, and also the trans march that kicks off some of the events today. here is a look at san francisco. we're going to see clear skies and a beautiful weekend ahead, a mix of sun and clouds, the big parade on sunday, starts at 10:30 in the morning and we'll be right at about 63 degrees, a little cool and it will be breezy as well. so as we make plans for the weekend headed out the door right now, it is a cool start in some spots especially in the north bay, with some low to mid-50s in walking out the door to 54 degrees. san francisco 59 and in san jose now at 60 degrees, if you're headed out the door to the fruitvale b.a.r.t. station it starts out cloudy but we'll see a little bit more sun and temperatures slowing warming up 10:00 to 11:00. noon, mostly sunny and 67 degrees. a look at our high temperatures today, slightly warmer than yesterday, but still really nice. concord reaching 81 degrees. napa 78, and san francisco in

the mid-60s with san jose today reaching 76 degrees. we do still have these breezy winds coming in onshore, but our winds turn a little bit more northerly as we go into today, so that for the inland valleys, can increase the temperatures just a couple of more degrees, but we're still slightly cooler than normal and for the coastal areas, if you're going to the beach, half moon bay is going to be windy, and that fog right there near the coast, so it will still feel a little bit cool throughout the day, and then into tomorrow, we're still going to have more of a northerly wind headed into the day. so as you try to make plans, maybe kicking off the weekend at the alameda county fair, it's going to be in the mid-70s today so comfortable and dropping into the upper 60s later on tonight. our inland temperatures are going to go up a few more degrees but nothing out of the ordinary here and nothing really extreme. as we head toward the fourth of july, we'll see some of our warmest valleys in the mid 80s and also for san francisco,

we're going to hold steady in the 60s here with times of fog drifting by. mike, you had something reported in hayward. >> we'll start on the hayward side of the san mateo bridge, westbound is your commute direction later on. right now not really a commute direction, just a smooth drive across the bay. just south of that bridge, we still have that disabled big rig blocking part of the off-ramp. it's open there at whipple as you exit toward the mall and traffic flows smoothly through the area. the sensors show a great drive around this part of the map. we don't have any incidents aside from the disability rig off the freeway until you get into the north bay here, traveling into dixon it's off 505 a crash vaca valley road and eastbound counter commute in fairfield toward airbase parkway. notice the greenorth bay and eastbound the getaway traffic that will start to build earlier today, and it may be heavier, there may be a lot of folks getting away but coming into the area, there may be more folks. as kari talked about pride week and focusing on the activities

predatory landlords. >> probably got a mixture of allegations which are correct, and a mixture ofeg the city sayy owns about 150 properties in oakland. e insts become compliant. dozens of uber and lift supervisors in san francisco today. they're asking them to support a new proposal making it more difficult for ride share companies to classify drivers as independent contractors. they say that it would open the door to higher wages, better benefits and the right to collectively organize. earlier this month, uber said it believes there is a better solution to the concerns, and a similar email the driver's lift claimed the proposal would limit flexibility for drivers. new this morning, a new development in what may eventually be a new and

expensive school campus in los altos. the school district agreed to buy land in the san antonio shopping center in mountain view, costs $155 million. "the mercury news" reporting it is planning to build a campus. the parents voiced heated opposition to the plan and it was put on hold. no surprise here, three bay five most expensive places to live in america. >> the move.org study looked at how much it costs for rent, utilities, food and gas in america's largest cities. it found that san francisco had the highest cost of living, more than $4,000 a month on average. new york city came in second, followed by san jose and oakland. el paso, texas, has the lowest
