good morning. here are today's top business headlines. wall street will look to add to yesterday's gains. stocks rallied with the dow up more than 200 points. that suggests the consumer is still spending even amid signs of a slowing economy. more earnings from the likes of retailers like dick's sporting goods and hewlett-packard. the department of health and h drug companies are embarrassed by drug prices or are scared they

because we have fog near the coast. there's a live look outside in dublin for those of you out the door. it's going to be 77 at 10:00 if you have activities to do in the day. we are at 80 degrees for the south bay. 91 degrees in east san jose, and hayward expect a high of 84, while pittsburg reaches 94 degrees, and 94 in livermore. the peninsula reaching 70 in half moon bay, and redwood t78 . we will see some of the temperatures in the north bay and ukiah reaching 93. rosa, it's feeling muggy out there. as we go into the next several

days, we will see the high pressure continue to build and cause warm inland temperatures. go into the weekend, still no changes as it gets hotter in a few spots. the high pressure just sits there for several days and so we will see more hot weather as we go into early next week. look at these temperatures staying in the 90s in the valleys, and up to 93 today once again. looking at low 90s as we check out those high temperatures here, and 94 degrees on sunday and then early next week we are going to see some mid-90s there while san francisco stays in the 70s from now through the middle of next week. we have one report of a small fire on the roads, and i am not very kurconcerned, but w still have it on the radar. same thing over long the east b and even out of the all ttamont

pass, you see the slowing. you see the slowing we have at the bay bridge toll plaza. a little fire hear heading towards the richmond san rafael bridge, and one report came into the chp and they are checking it out and sounds like it could be a garbage can on the side of the roadway. towards the bay bridge, the low clouds wisping this area. and look carefully, we have one of the cash lanes on either side not open and that's 4:48. a little fog across the golden gate bridge, so slow it down for safety's sake. 4:48 right now. a water search team coming up empty in their search for a woman that disappeared in east contra costa county.
