we're quite a distance away. this just goes to show there's some hundreds of students who are still ensconced inside that university they're not going anywhere and the university president and some officials have tried to make a deal with the police to try to peacefully resolve this situation but it really lolike t to let any protesters exit peacefully they met some of those trying to flee the university grounds with tear gas and more rubber bullets. it seems the situation right now is the police don't want to peacefully resolve this. they want to make as many arrests as they possibly can this is well into the sixth month of this protest movement this doesn't show any sign of easing up. that's because this has become kind of like a self-perpetuating outrage machine. every time we see one of these incidents, we see violence erupting and the protest blame the police and that just sparks more protests. unless there's some kind of radical sdpigs-making on the part of the government who seems
