and looking at all of our bay area views, we are not seeing, once again, that zero visibility like we did yesterday. so, for most of us it is fairly clear as you head out the door. that's what you're seeing as you check out the roads now, mike. >> the weather and traffic. we share the same system. i get kari's data and she helps me understand it. look all over the bay we have the green speed sensors which is what you want to see and we don't have that orangish, amber color which means fog impeding your view in many spots. great flow of traffic and out of south county and north bay looking great and getting in towards san francisco and little slowing registering at the bay bridge toll plaza. we'll expect nice and slow, but we can see the east shore freeway. easy getting into the breakg ney that scene and we have reached out to police is on ninth and in san francisco.

no clouds or fog. now, if you're planning to head out of town using sfo, there is "today in the bay" bob redell is outside san francisco international to explain. >> the number of people taking b.a.r.t. located here in the international terminal. the number of people doing that has declined by 10%. in an attempt to reverse that trend and get more people to take b.a.r.t. sfo. they want to give those readers a quicker trip to san francisco. the way it worked, airport security would scan your clipper card to confirm you took b.a.r.t. to sfo and you get access to a special priority lane. this would not be a tsa precheck lane. this incentive would start late january or early february. "chronicle" is reporting that uber ise expensive uber rides and everyone else hailing a ride

looking kind of nice and normal for 4:45. on a tuesday. >> it is tuesday. and, so, we are going to start to see a few of those clouds rolling by. some patches of fog and also some sunshine today. we'll see a mix of it all. by next round of rain moves in. as we take a live look outside in palo alto. heading out the door it looks pretty good. temperatures in the upper 40s and we'll be at 49 degrees through 8:00 and then seeing our temperatures warming up gradually going throughout the day and we will see partly cloudy skies for the afternoon. here's couple of storms moving in. so, tomorrow's rain comes in by basically late tonight and early tomorrow morning. and then we'll have another system arriving on saturday and that is going to possibly impact your weekend plans. so, let's go hour by hour for today. we're starting out with the clouds and the fog. some breaks in those clouds

throughout the day and by 7:00 we're seeing the rain moving into parts of the north bay and that rain at times will be quite steady and we're not looking at really heavy rain at this point, but we are going to see it comes off and on throughout ear tomor morning to more showers moving through the peninsula. and rolling over towards the east bay. we're also going to keep those rain chances in the forecast throughout the day tomorrow and even early on thursday as we still see some of those lingering showers. as far as how much rain we're going to see over the course of a couple of days. we're only looking at about 0.10 to 0.25 just south of oakland and san francisco. as you head farther north, higher rainfall totals closer to an inch around ucas well as sona county. still some lingering showers on thursday. friday does seem pretty good and then on saturday we'll have
