taxpayers. >> reporter: it was passed with two members opposed, saying the language was not specific enough. we are live in downtown san jose. >> all looking for some sort of solution and a step forward. thank you very much, roz. overnight police are investigating the discoveries of a woman found shot to death in a car that crashed in east oakland. officers say it happened about 9:00 p.m., police are not saying about those details surrounding the crash or if she was shot before or after the accident. there are no suspects at this time. well, a hearing today may determine if there is a retrial for a man accused in a high-profile bay area murder case. tiffany lee was acquitted in the death of hers fiance.

the jury could not reach a verdict on lee's codefendant. prosecutors are expected toe announce a decision on whether or not they plan to go forward. new details in a string of violent home invasions in lafayette. police this week also made two more arrests. they say the suspects are all part of a group that broke into homes, tied the people up inside while they robbed them. two suspects charged so far are facing more than two dozen felony counts. a by blowing for san francisco. oracle is pulling is annual convention out of moscone center. >> oracle plans to move that event to las vegas. sf travel association says attendees were turned off by high hotel prices and conditions

light rain, we've seen the patches of fog rolling by. we're seeing visibility cut down to about two miles which of course is safe to drive in. as we look live right now at dublin, we're seeing a lot of people already up and out the door. as you get ready to head toward the day, we'll see clouds and temperatures holding steady in the 50s. as far as the rain, it's been the bay t and spotty. and parts of the peninsula. that's about it. we were going to see it coming in off and on, as this large system continue to say spread in. notice of swirls of the clouds. this is the center of the low pressure, way off, and with it being so far away, a lot of the rain that we'll see, not only today, but the next couple days will be fairly weak and light. so we're going to see some of

the rain continues today, mostly for the morning and in the north bay, with a spotty off and on rain. it looks like we'll have a better chance during the overnight hours, so most of our day is pretty dry. going into tomorrow we'll still have the chance of rain, most of us getting about a tenth to a 1/4 inch of rain. some of the higher amounts will be over the north bay. the forecast will have these waves coming in every now and then. there would be breaks in between, but then going into sunday, we're dry, but there will be a couple more storm systems to roll in. this is what your seven-day forecast looks like, this off and on rain spotty, and also very light. it will also be a weak system coming in on sunday, but we are all clear and dry on sunday for the 49ers home game and the raiders final home game. heading over to mike, chp is happy to report. >> very calm, the only incident
