assemblywoman making history, after giving birth to triplets. she is the first state legislator to do it while in office. >> very exciting for her, sabrina cervantes gave birth to two boys and a girl last week. mom and babies said to be doing great. her office says she and her wife are looking forward to celebrating the holidays with the newest addition to their family. the assemblywoman represents the riverside area in southern california. now she'll be serving a whole lot of other. it's a lot of work but a lot of fun. a lot of diapers. >> third times the charm, birth, birth, birth, all at once. >> 30 seconds apart, i tell you, about us busy. breaking news on this tuesday morning, it's been a deadly night in the bay area, killing four people. two were killed in a wrong-way crash on i-80 in contra costa county, and in solano county, there's been a double homicide. we have live reports just moments away. plus as we get closer to the

house vote on impeaching president trump, millions of americans from the bay area to washington, d.c., are planning to rally in favor of impeachment. up next, meet the peninsula woman leading the efforts in their hometown. and here we go again, rain is returning to the bay area. meteorologist kari hall tracking back-to-back storms. we'll have a look at the time line coming up next. "today in the bay" continues right now. a very good tuesday morning to you and thanks for starting your day with us. i'm, wi i'm laura garcia. >> i'm marcus washington. we want to get with that incoming rain that's coming our way, meteorologist kari hall has been tracking that. how soon should we pull out the umbrellas? >> not until later on tonight. if you're out throughout the day heading to work, head back home you'll probably be able to do so before that rain comes in. as we get a look at storm ranger right now, we are seeing for the most part some dry conditions. couple sprinkles in northern sonoma county up toward ukiah. we'll see that rain reaching

closer to the coast by this evening, around 10:00 we'll see some of that heavier rain arriving, so i'll have more on the time line coming up. mike, we're easing into that tuesday commute. >> that's right, easy breezy. i like it like that. we see a build over there in pleasanton, 680 toward sunol and south 858 past the san mateo bridge typical spots but usually that slowing pattern happens 30 minutes earlier. a lighter volume and later shift toward the end of the year after thanksgiving. it's more slowing pittsburg into bay point. highway 4, 242 and 680 in to walnut creek out of concord just starting to build, about 630 is when the speeds drop according to waze' predictive timing and over here 101 at hospital curve northbound, there may be a crash that's going on, we'll check on that status. meanwhile you guys are taking me to the north? >> that's right, we want to get back to that breaking news we have been following all morning here. this is out of solano county, where two people are dead, this is after a person shot after in

a vallejo neighborhood. bob redell is at the scene. have jegt investigators been ab piece together how this unfolded? >> reporter: they're still treating this as a double homicide, still investigating trying to find out what happened and that's one reason why they're waiting for the sun to come up, daylight and give them a better sense of what happened out here. we're on the 1,000 block of hargas avenue in vallejo. there is no longer a threat to the community, that the male suspect is dead. what's not clear is if he shot himself or shot by the other man who is also dead on the scene. again this is why the sheriff's office is investigating this as a double homicide. this started as an altercation at a home. a woman was inside the home with a teenaged boy, a younger child and another man. they believe he's either a friend or her boyfriend. deputy tells us that a second man possibly the woman's current or ex-husband, showed up around

midnight. there was an argument. the woman got hurt in the head. she has since been treated and released, she's going to be okay. the deputy says that current or ex-husband showed up, shot the other man, apparently the other man was trying to run away. his body is across the street from the home. the ex or current husband he's in a car in front of the home, dead from a gunshot wound, the gun found inside that vehicle, and the sheriff's office is saying want to reiterate there waiting for the sun to come up they were going to be out here for quite some time, hoping that that daylight will give them a better sense, some better eyes on the crime scene here behind me. reporting live here in vallejo, bob redell, "today in the bay." >> thanks for sorting that one out for us, bob. it was also a deadly night in contra costa county. this is a look, take a look at that car, a crash scene, it left two people dead on i-80. this morning, the chp says it was a result of a wrong-way driver.

"today in the bay's" kris sanchez joins us live in pinole to tell us a little bit more of what happened here. kris? >> reporter: hi there, laura. the freeway is open again, so it won't have an impact on the commute, but the chp will continue investigating how it is that that driver ended up on i-80, but headed in the wrong direction. this was the scene shortly after that crash, what's left of those two vehicles when the driver of a chevy trailblazer got on to i-80 headed in the wrong direction, that is westbound and the eastbound lanes. the drivers smashed into the other car and what we know at this point is that two people died, whether it's both drivers or perhaps the passenger is unclear. at this point chp cannot say why that driver found themselves on the roadway in the wrong direction. however, according to the chp, a pinole police sergeant saw that driver run two red lights and drop a passenger off before the crash. they were cleared to say there was no active pursuit. we are going to ask more

say they tried to pull him over. it started at the los lagos golf course in san jose. he ran from the car as officers approached and barricaded himself in a nearby home. the homeowner managed to escape but a short time later the house went up in flames. firefighters dragged the suspect from the home. he faces several charges, once he is released from the hospital. the home had pretty heavy damage. san francisco leaders want to better protect tenants from lawful evictions. supervisors will consider a proposal to tighten buy-out regulations for landlords seeking to take back their property. typically landlords offer a buy-out in exchange for waiving rights and moving. tenant rights supporters believe all too often renters are steamrolled or threatened into making snap decisions. all right now we are gearing up for incoming rain. meteorologist kari hall has been tracking that for us. >> and we're going to see that rain moving in tonight, we are starting out with dry weather for this morning, but it is also

very chilly. here is a live look outside in dublin, a lot of people already up and out the door, and our temperatures are going to dip back down into the upper 30s. so it's a very chilly start to the day, especially for the inland valleys. notice that we will see some more clouds as we go into the morning into the afternoon. as we go hour by hour, the rain holds off at least for us to get to work and come home but by 11:00 tonight, we're seeing that rain moving into the coast and parts of the north bay, and then spreading inland as we go toward tomorrow morning. we'll see the waves of rain off and on for tomorrow, so we'll talk about how much rain we may measure, that's coming up in a few minutes. mike, you are tracking the changes in the tri-valley. >> that's right, kari, looking over here. the big view folks look at the screen, green sensors almost everywhere. the changes in the tri-valley. first of all let's talk about 808. thornton avenue no problems for the on-ramp anymore getting on to southbound 880 but in the same latitude we have southbound 680 in toward fremont out of sunol, there is a disabled

good tuesday monk, at 6:14, head topher martinez and see how our day shapes up. we'll start out very cool, some low 40s through 8:00 and slowly warming up today with peeks of sunshine and we'll see the temperatures reaching the mid-50s. rain holds off until tonight so we'll talk more about the time line and we'll track it with storm ranger, coming up in about five minutes. right on schedule, the san mateo bridge westbound, the tail lights starting to tap the brakes. we're building that means we're slowing the speeds. predictive timing from waze right about now things build. slowing by the time you get to 7:00, builds ten more minutes on the commute across the span. good morning. very happy tuesday to you as

well. we get data on new home building today, markets are at new records on hopes of a deal with the chinese. boeing says it's going to suspend the manufacture of its problem-plagued 737 max. roku, the company based in the south bay says its chief financial officer is leaving, that stock may be under pressure, but holy cow what a good performer the company has been. roku makes tv streaming devices, started the year at $32 a share. right now trading at $138. a new government report shows 91 fortune 500 corporations effectively paid no federal taxes here. they include starbucks and bay area companies like levi's, and chevron. now they had a tax bill but it was offset by tax credits. the report says the video game company blizzard actually made more money in tax credits than it paid out, giving it an effective tax rate of about negative 51%. sales force up there in the corner as well.

the institute on taxation and economic policy made that list. it says corporations who did have to pay federal taxes paid an effective rate of 11%. now, none of this is illegal, they just have good tax lawyers and good tax strategies. you may be aware how people watch other people play video games online through services like twitch. this video game player who goes by the nickname dr. lupo is going to hold a video game marathon where he hopes to raise $2 million for st. jude's children's hospital. >> nice. using his talents to help others. >> it is really nice, sbt tisn'? fortnite, a child wants fortnite you can get it on disc at the store and a reminder it's available for free as a download. you can buy the disc if you want to. there's fortnite again, the super popular game. but if you're shopping for the christmas gift, i'm not saying don't buy it. >> there's a lot of things out

there that are free. >> you don't have to buy it. it's free. >> kind of taking advantage of people there. >> i think so. grandparents. >> thanks so much. happening today contra costa leaders, contra costa county leaders i should say consider new regulations for short term rentals like airbnb, right now unincorporated parts of the county have no rules for short-term rentals. according to the east bay times the various local panels are being asked for their input on creating some new rules which may include permits or requiring property owners to be on site. supervisors may consider a new tax. it's also likely any new regulations will vary, depending on the needs of each community. can you believe this, christmas just eight days away. amazon is making decisions that may impact those holiday gifts. the company now says that the so-called third party sellers on amazon prime can no longer use fedex ground service to ship their goods. the policy change means some

orders may not arrive in the two-day window customers are expecting. small businesses say the decision will have an impact on their bottom line. amazon says that the change is not cost related, but performance related. trending this morning, mariah carey's wish that christmas wish is coming true. >> that holiday anthem that we hear over and over but don't get tired of, it's reaching new heights. ♪ all i want for christmas is you ♪ >> carey's 1994 "all i want for christmas is you" is crowning the billboard hot 100 for the first time. for years technicalities kept it from being considered. to date carey earned more than $60 million in royalties off that song. >> merry christmas. >> i don't get tired of it. >> you don't? >> i really don't. i think it's a great song.

horizontally but it does scan vertically, giving us a two-dimensional view of the rain, revealing more of that storm data and it gives us a very high resolution, because it is an x-band radar and can pick up on wildfire smoke and it's exclusive to nbc bay area, as well as telemundo 48. that's the red scan we're seeing right there, and so far, it's been pretty dry, only picking up on some very light rain farther to the north, just south of ukiah. but here is a look at the bulk of the storm system that will be coming in later tonight, and into the day tomorrow, and there is another system behind that. we are going to see a couple of waves of rain coming in. but we are dry throughout most of the day. look at storm ranger on the nbc bay area app. you'll want to track it as the rain starts to move in later on this evening, and as we wake up tomorrow morning, off and on showers moving through, mostly for the first part of the day. by the afternoon, we're starting to see that rain taper off, and then we'll catch a little bit of a break here, but that's before we get another quarter to possibly half inch of rain,

higher amounts for parts of the north bay up to an inch of rain. also an inch of rain possible for the santa cruz mountains. thursday and friday is dry but we'll be watching this forecast, for the 49ers home game. it will also be here on nbc bay area, so if you don't want to have to deal with those rain chances, you can sit on your couch and watch it here. we'll also see the off and on showers continue through sunday. mike, it's looking pretty good out there right now. >> it is, considering right now 6:21 on a tuesday, this is what we're talking about a little bit lighter, kicking in a little bit later for the commute. here is the berkeley curve, great movement off of westbound 80. we have slowing here off of highway 24 and 580, as they funnel over. again the patterns are the same but the volume lighter, so traffic is still maintaining a pretty good pace here. a little slowing kicked off by an earlier crash over there in pinole and that sort of sticks around for the morning commute. same thing for slowing through concord and out of pittsburg and highway 4. the walnut creek interchange by the time you get there, 680 is great. vasco road kicked off with the

6:25. the santa cruz county sheriff is asking people to be on the lookout for missing girls, natalie rodriguez and hannah morgan smith, left their homes in san lorenzo valley on friday. both are considered at risk, they were last seen by friends in the sunnyvale cupertino area on sunday. authorities by the dozens are scouring an area in florida this morning in a desperate search for the missing brother

and sister. >> authorities have issued an amber alert for 6-year-old braxton williams and his 5-year-old sister, brya. the children were last seen sunday playing in front of their home. their father tells investigators he was setting up a barbecue at the time of their disappearance and the children's grandparents say their mother was also home. neighbors say they spotted a car speeding away from the house. >> there was two little kids in the back seat and the little boy had his hands on the window. >> the sheriff so far is not commenting on a possible connection to the mysterious car. new video of a scare in the air for passengers showing a plane's engines shooting sparks and flames out. united airlines flight was headed from san diego to chicago, when it was forced to make an emergency landing in albuquerque. it happened about 1:30 yesterday morning. no one was hurt. the airline says there was a mechanical issue with one of the engines. coming up next here on "today in the bay," the new deadline pg&e is facing today, after governor newsom rejected his $13 billion payout for fire

bleaking news to tell you about, four people dead overnight and two unrelated and separate crime steenz skooecene. a deadly wrong-way crash on i-8 in contra costa county and active crime scene after a double killing in solano county. two more storm systems barrelling toward the bay area. rain is set to return. storm ranger is up and running scanning the skies. all is dry right now but that is about to change. we'll tell you when. thanks for joining us. i'm laura garcia. >> and i'm marcus washington. let's head over to meteorologist kari hall, with a track of what we can expect today. >> today we're staying dry. the rain comes in later on tonight but we have seen some spotty, light rain, just north of santa rosa, up toward ukiah. we're able to track it with storm ranger, our mobile doppler radar. the bulk of the rain well off the coast and we're starting out with cool temperatures and a light breeze out there as we take a live look outside in fremont. as we go through the day we'll see our temperatures go from the low 40s to about 60 degrees at

the scene. have investigators been able to piece together how it unfolded? >>. >> reporter: the corn mer is behind me removing one of the bodies. the sheriff's office tells us there is no longer a threat to the community that the male suspect is dead. what is not clear whether or not he shot himself or shot by the other man also dead on the scene. the solano county sheriff's office says they are considering this, investigating this to a double homicide. started as an altercation at a home here on the thousand block of hargas avenue and vallejo. a woman was inside the home with a teenage boy and another man, either a friend or a boyfriend. possibly her current or ex-husband showed up around midnight, there was an argument. the woman got hurt in the head,

since been treated and released. the depp suit says her current or ex-husband shot the other man as he tried to run away. his body is across the street from the home and the current or ex-husband is in a car in front of the home dead from the gunshot wound. the gun found inside that vehicle. the sheriff's office is waiting for the sun to come up, hoping the daylight gives them a better sense of the crime scene and hopefully provide more answers. reporting live in vallejo, bob redell, "today in the bay." >> thanks for the latest from that scene, bob. emotional plea from the fiance of a beloved high school coach that was shot and killed in front of his children on saturday morning. last night lea perry showed us where two masked gunmen entered the hallway of her home and fired at rafael lopez. he was a football coach for several programs in the east bay and a youth sports coach in concord. police initially reported the victim and gunman knew each

other. the family says they have no idea who the intruders were. >> and i heard a shot, and then i saw rafael come from our bedroom down the hallway and tackle the guy in the hallway. >> he died because he was protecting his second oldest son who had a gun to his face. if they only knew what kind of man raf was. >> witnesses say the two gunmen got away in a gray or silver imported sedan. right now police are not saying a lot about that investigation. happening today pg&e faces a new delined to present a revised compensation for thousands of northern california wildfire victims. governor newsom last friday turned down the utility's first settlement plan. it included $13 billion for victims in a series of fires, including the tubbs fire and butte county camp fire. pg&e needs to have a final plan in place by june 30th to qualify for new state fund covering the cost of future fires. the settlement would also help the company emerge from bankruptcy.

happening today, sonoma county leaders unveil an emergency plan to address the homeless crisis focusing mainly on people living along joe rodado trail. it runs between santa rosa and sebastopol. among the options, possible short-term indoor and outdoor shelters at the county fairgrounds. sonoma county has approximately 3,000 homeless people. today we get a first look at the controversial homeless center on san francisco's waterfront. mayor london breed will open the doors of the new embarcadero navigation center. neighborhood groups have been fighting the shelter, even filing lawsuits that were shot down. a second and final vote on a a homeless man attacked a woman walking in the same area. this will the first center to open in a mostly residential area. new signs the latest safe driving technologies are actually making drivers even more distracted. latest cars include things like

lane focus technology and adaptive cruise control. aaa says drivers become even more distracted when relying on the features. drivers with less experience using the technologies were the ones most likely to remain attentive. aaa says you should commit to knowing what is installed in your vehicle, and how it all works, and expect advanced driving assistance technologies to have limitations. hey, all the technology coming our way, we think it's going to make it easier but not so much. >> sometimes it makes it more complicated. >> remind kids computers are not smart, they do what they told. just like with the maps here as well we look at what we're given and we interpret that data so we can get the real story. over here a smooth drive looks like it's going on over here. the crash was reported eastbound getting off of the san mateo bridge, no slowing shows up and we haven't had any other repercussi repercussions. throughout our waze community

over here 92, southbound just off 880, even though it's not in the computerized system, some folks a number of folks are reporting there is a smaller crash there. we'll give it a shout out and thank our friend barack albert for shouting that out and letting us know may be going on through hayward. out to the maps predicted slowing toward the san mateo bridge you have no major problems. contra costa county looking great right now. this is a tuesday at 6:37. no problem. >> all right. for us it feels like you're cruising through tuesday morning but for most people just waking up. >> wish it was thursday, right? >> wishful thinking. >> it's so close to christmas and on the last weekend before the holiday. we have the big 49ers game this saturday and we'll be tracking some rain so we're making plans around the downpours that will be off and on as we go into saturday as well as sunday. but friday is our day to get outside, it's dry but also cool with san francisco reaching into

the mid-50s. and for that game on saturday it will be cloudy, temperatures in the mid-50s for highs and the storm starts to move into the north bay, makes its way into santa clara possibly the fourth quarter. we'll watch the timing on that. squaw valley and talk about the forecast for the weekend we'll see the snow starting to come down early on sunday, and temperatures reaching the mid-30s. if you're going to be up enjoying some of the vineyards and the russian river valley area, expect some showers on saturday continuing off and on into sunday. we'll talk about today's temperature trend as that rain rolls back into the bay area that's coming up in about three minutes. >> at least it's keeping everything green. >> yes. 6:38 right now. coming up next on "today in the bay" the breaking news we've been following since we came on air at 4:30 this morning. two people dead after a wrong-way driver allegedly caused a head-on crash on i-80 in contra costa county.

minutes. >> car ', always gets to scoop me but i show it to you, palo alto. i want to show you the beautiful traffic, we're getting more traffic raising the volume but not lowering the speeds here. we'll talk about the rest of the bay coming up. back to our other breaking story for you this morning in contra costa county, two people are dead, this is after a suspected wrong-way driver caused this crash on i-80 overnight in pinole. >> "today in the bay's" kris sanchez joins us live from contra costa county this morning and really kris, there is a lesson we can all learn from this. >> reporter: you know, a lot of us who drive overnight in the dark what would you do if you saw headlights in the wrong direction. first how deadly these kinds of head-on crashes can be. this is what was left of the two vehicles that crashed here on interstate 80 near appian way in pinole. the trouble started before that, though, when the driver of the chevy trailblazer got on to i-80

headed in the wrong direction. that driver smashed into the other vehicle, we know two people died in this crash, at this point chp cannot say why that driver found themselves on the roadway in the wrong direction. however, according to the chp, a pinole sergeant, police sergeant saw that driver run two red lights and drop a passenger off before the crash. there was no pursuit however. the wrong-way drivers are not that common, but because they can be so deadly, you might wonder what you can do. the chp says if you see a driver headed in the wrong direction, whether it's on a highway like this one or whether on a one-way street, make your way all the way to the right, because that driver if they don't know they're headed in the wrong direction, they're probably going to be going against traffic, meaning they will be on your left-hand side in the fast lane, because that would be the normal convention of traffic flow. so find yourself all the way over to the right-hand side in the slow lane, stay away from the fast lane and whenever it's safe, pull over and call the

chp, so that they know that there is somebody headed in the wrong direction before they collide with somebody else. in pinole, kris sanchez, "today in the bay." >> thank you, kris. 6:44 for you right now. a heartless and brutal crime in southern california, where a man was killed at his own wedding reception. >> and police say two brothers who crashed the big day are the ones responsible. investigators say the reception was being held at the victim's sister's home late saturday in chino. the suspects are said to be neighbors who showed up uninvited. they were asked to leave, but later returned and that's when his family members explained things turned violent. >> those cowards came back with bats, then they were in the alley and it was dark, they couldn't see. they couldn't see and they jumped the fence and they started hitting him with bats. >> very tragic. officers arrested both suspects.

in the meantime the victim's mother and siblings now have to care for his 11-year-old daughter from a previous marriage. it turns out he had full custody. 6:45 for you right now. today may be the last day president trump remains unimpeached. >> scott mcgrew the big vote probably coming tomorrow. >> laura, probably, the right way to phrase that. the debate in the house tomorrow with an impeachment vote expected in the evening. it goes long we could be looking at thursday. what's not much in doubt is that president trump will be impeached. more and more democrats in the house announcing a yes vote. here we see michigan's alyssa slotkin telling her constituents she'll vote yes. she got pushback, signs people want to impeach her. you can't impeach a member of congress. also, impeachment does not mean being thrown out of office. president trump remains president after impeachment. he goes to trial in the senate, if found guilty, then he would no longer be president and that's extremely unlikely.

the only real question is whether there will be witnesses at the trial. democrats want to call john bolton, calling the deal with ukraine a drug deal, chief of staff mick mulvaney no at one point admitted the quid pro quo, twice actually at this press conference only to walk it back. in total, democrats would like to see four witnesses. >> we don't know what kind of evidence they will present. they might present exculpatory evidence that helps president trump. it may be incriminating against the president, but they should be heard. >> rudy giuliani meanwhile continues to cause trouble for his client, donald trump, further expanding on what he said monday that he pushed for the ouster of ambassador marie yovanovitch because she stood in the way of investigating the bidens.

storm ranger tracking some light showers up around ukiah in a will move off toward the east and most of us won't see that. a look at the wide view of the system that's going to be moving in, bringing us some rain off and on especially tomorrow morning and another round of rain in the forecast on saturday. now we are, often have these maps and put a big "l" on it to show you where the low pressure is. low pressure forms where you have two different kinds of air mass, it could be dry air and warm air coming together or cool air and also warm air, now when they come together they are forced to rise up into the atmosphere, and kind of start to spin in a counter-clockwise direction as it rises. as that air gets higher in the atmosphere, it's cooler up there, so all of the moisture in that air condenses and starts to develop some rain, and once we get those clouds big enough, we can see a lot of heavy downpours, but a lot of times the rain is fairly light.

as we go into the next 24 hours, we'll start to see that rain coming in. our hour-by-hour forecast shows a lot of clouds today. off and on showers as we start out tomorrow where we see the yellows and the oranges indicates the heavier rain. off an own showers for the start of the day tomorrow and tomorrow evening tapingering off. models are going back and forth. showing up to an inch of rain in the santa cruz mountains. about a tenth to a quarter inch of rain in the north. we dry out again thursday and friday and another system coming in late on saturday will bring scattered showers throughout the day on sunday, and gradually taper off on monday with some cooler temperatures. we'll be tracking all of that for you and mike's taking us now to the south bay. >> that's right, kari. i have a couple notes.

just got a crash reported here northbound 101 right around mckee, shouldn't be a major issue and may be just someone pulling over for some mechanical issue. nonetheless it's there and the build for the south bay. we have a smooth drive look at the rest of your map, exceptionally light for 6:52 in the morning. remember, the last few weeks of the year we have that shift later and lighter for the commute. northbound 17 slowing though coming up toward lexington hills. i don't think it's related to that construction or landscaping. it's going on for a while but early start for that slowing there and we have right on schedule predicted out of sman martin 101 over the hill for highway 17 the drive back tough for early afternoon. the landscaping doesn't clear until about 3:00. starting to see it unclear, slow down out of lafayette west 24, the backup at the bay bridge toll plaza with the metering lights on and gradual slowing along the east shore freeway, a build out of richmond-san rafael

welcome back. 6:56. before you head out the door here are the top stories we're covering on "today in the bay." the breaking news we've been telling but this morning, solano county deputies confirming two men were shot and killed at a family dispute in vallejo. here is a live look at the scene along hargas avenue near east orchard. investigators say it started with some kind of shoot-out around midnight. one woman was treated for head injuries. the male suspect believed to be her ex-husband or ex-boyfriend is dead. it's unclear how that man died. deputies do say this is no longer a danger to the public. they ask people to stay away from the area as they continue to investigate. striking kaiser mental health workers are expected to hit the picket lines once again today. approximately 4,000 workers, that's not the video for that but 4,000 workers are in the second day of a five-day strike,

they'll hit the picket lines in cities across the state. they say many patients are waiting for months for appointments. kaiser says it is committed to keeping facilities open during the strike and has 500 employees this year alone. santa rosa police on the hunt for a half dozen people tied to a string of marijuana burglaries. the thieves left a trail of marijuana bags during their getaway. responding officers say the group then led them on a wild high-speed chase at times driving on the sidewalk and crashing into a police car. it started when the officers responded to an alarm at a cannabis business on piner place. officers called off the chase over concerns to public safety. a sliver of good news for an east bay ice rink targeted by vandals over the weekend. "east bay times" reports brentwood ice may reopen as soon as noon today. it was supposed to be closed until tomorrow after vandals
