more. we are in a drying trend for the bay area. but we also are starting out with some dense fog. take a look at our view. low visibility here as well as the tri-valley. watch out for the fog for you, early morning drivers heading out the door, we'll see that along with some cool temperatures that will gradually work out, this compares to yesterday. then as we look at the forecast we'll see temperatures on a warming trend over the next couple of days. very close to the bay area. we'll start to see the showers moving along with it but it's also still pulling in some moisture and that is going to be what we'll see in terms of our scattered showers that could possibly fall across parts of the bay area for today. looking lighter compared to the

showers we had yesterday. a closer look shows we're all mostly starting out with a dry forecast but once again that fog remains the issue and as we go hour by hour we'll still see a chance of showers in the forecast, but a slight chance for today, and we'll see a mix of sun and clouds. we're also seeing a slight chance we could see some rain moving through as late as tomorrow evening as some storms fire up over parts of the sierra. it could move into the bay area. then we'll start to see weather clearing out. partly cloudy skies and a chance of showers and going into the rest of the week, look at all that sunshine. low to mid-70s in the weekend forecast. more of the same, warming in san francisco. fog is the main issue for drivers.

team to see if anybody is getting a break. >> reporter: good morning, lots of people are curious about this very expensive question. in fact, alvin asked me about it on twitter. does he have to pay his taxes by the april 10th deadline. the answer varies by county. let's start in san mateo. the treasurer there just issued this letter saying san mateo is pushing back the deadline from april 10th to may 4th. that's the first day after the current stay-at-home order is set to expire. san francisco has done the same. the treasurer there says property taxes in the city are now due may 4th. but the bay area's remaining counties appear to be sticking to the friday deadline. some say they are unable to legally push back the due date though they are offering a selective break. the treasurer in alameda, contra costa, marin, solano counties indicated taxpayers directly affected by covid-19 can apply
