i am with you today on jobs day. for the past two weeks we have seen over 10 million americans file for unemployment. i know that's a massive number, a record-breaking number, but the silver lining is it means americans are staying home and that's what we told them to do. the number thing to do is listen to the health experts. the health experts said we need to stay home and ride it out. if you are somebody in that position, if you are an employer and had to lay your workers off, the best thing you can do is take advantage of the cares act which is offering unemployment to the self-employed, and that includes home care. the best thing you can do right now is go on your state's website and apply for the benefits and get yourself that financial support you need to get through this

outside because of the winds picking up. let's check out high temperatures for the day. there will be a wide range in temperatures from the coast to inland areas. along the coast we are going to stay in the upper 50s today with more clouds, and then you head to the north bay where there will be more sunshine and highs reaching into the 70s for the day. 60s in the south bay and east bay. we are once again tracking that storm system. look at all the rain moving north of l.a. and off the central coast. we have seen those showers also producing heavy downpours. for us we are still on the northern edge of that so we can't rule out any chances of rain as we go into the rest higf the showers will be the eastbound, south bay, as well as the peninsula and our hour-by-hour outlook that shows clouds and moisture moving by for today. we will see our temperatures in the upper 60s, and then into the

weekend it looks beautiful once again, as the skies clear. we will see highs in the 70s and easter sunday is going to reach into the mid-70s for the inland areas, and that continues into next week. mike, you have been tracking the roads. any issues popping up for drivers? >> we had a couple reports this morning, minor debris on the roadway causing crashes so watch out out there, not many cars but debris has the same affect. more of an issue, light-rail -- well, the rails in general. bart has trimmed down their service, and it went into effect yesterday, so ever 30 minutes for trains and that's about half the trains they used to have. and vta is restoring the
