checking out the tree and grass pollen right now really high. if you're planning to be out high for the birthday party, yeah, make sure that you're taking that allergy medication if you suffer from allergies. here is a look at all the clouds we're seeing right now across the bay area and the reason why as we have this cold front coming through. unfortunately, we're not getting any rain from this, but it will bring in those changes that will give us a stronger ocean breeze and help cool us off. going into the next several days we're looking at more dry weather, but look at all the storms moving across the pacific northwest. there's basically a parade of storms lining up and we're missing out on all of that action as we head now into may with still more dry weather. so our seven-day forecast does show at least a cooldown for the weekend. we're in the upper 70s for today, and then going into the low to mid-70s. by next week it does warm up slightly. then in san francisco we're
4:48 am
going to hold steady here with a lot of clouds and fog and temperatures in the mid-60s. there may even be patchy drizzle especially early on sunday morning as we see another system passing to the north of us but still for the most part no rain here for the bay area. i'll be keeping an eye on those temperatures. you've been watching that traffic alert. we have two things to warn people about. the first one a very big concern coming off the bay bridge over at fremont street, we do have a closure of west 80 before you get to the skyway, you do have to get off the bridge over at fremont because as thom jensen has been reporting we do have the continued closure as you get over into san francisco. now as we're getting off the bridge there on harrison and reroute because of police activity. another issue in the area we still have that closure of southbound highway 101 for the overnight work at 6:00 or by 6:00 we should be able to take one lane. let's show you the live look
